Most preschool teachers know what a kindergarten teacher’s portfolio for certification is. So that people raising small children can conquer new heights, we suggest on this page that you download samples of ready-made portfolios for the certification of teachers and, based on the proposed templates and examples, create your own exclusive works.

What is a kindergarten teacher’s portfolio for certification, which is sure to happen in everyone’s life? This is a personal portfolio (folder) of a teacher, which contains documents confirming the effectiveness of his activities, participation in ongoing competitions and events, and regular professional development. In order not to be unfounded, we will immediately turn to ready-made samples, which can be downloaded from the links.

How to make a portfolio for a preschool teacher?

When preparing for certification, each teacher must clearly understand how to make a teacher’s portfolio so that it meets all the requirements and serves to represent their own experience. To compile it correctly, you need to make a lot of effort, everyone who has such an urgent goal knows this. However, you should know that it is this portfolio filled with documents that will replace the self-education folder that existed for years, which did not have a clear structure, and therefore has now lost its relevance. The Regulations, which will be discussed in detail below, as well as those ready-made samples of work that we offer to download for free for review, will help you create a portfolio correctly.

Seeing this sample, which you do not need to print out for yourself, since it contains someone else’s information, any educator will have to determine the structure of his folder and collect the appropriate material. Since the document is usually presented in a folder on A4 sheets, it is better to make a portfolio in the Word program. And again, help for those who are going to start creating a “portfolio”. Below are links for downloading ready-made samples that will help anyone who was looking for an answer to the question of how to make a portfolio for a preschool teacher.

Regulations on the portfolio of a preschool teacher

Each author of the work must draw up a teacher’s portfolio in accordance with the requirements for the preparation of this document. On June 26, 2000, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation developed a regulation on the portfolio of a preschool teacher, which is a guiding document that determines the structure and content of this folder. On its basis, as well as within the framework of the previously adopted Law “On Education” in the Russian Federation, the existing Methodological Recommendations of the Ministry of Education in each institution, the teaching staff is developing its own regulations on the portfolio of a preschool teacher, which will serve as further guidance for the work of everyone who works in a particular kindergarten garden. The drafted Regulations must be adopted at the teachers' council.

After looking at the examples, choose a template for your teacher portfolio and painstakingly fill the folder letter by letter until it becomes as weighty as those of those authors who have already passed the test and are proud of their work. A ready-made template is not enough to make the work decent. You need to stock up on photographs, scans of documents and patience, which will be the key to success.

Making a portfolio for a kindergarten teacher

When starting to draw up your own portfolio for a preschool teacher, you need to clearly understand what the goal is for the author of this work: what it will be needed for. In accordance with this, design requirements are drawn up. If the portfolio is presented for certification, then it is necessary to reflect the results of work, all of your achievements for a specific period. Sometimes a teacher wants to create a cumulative portfolio that he or she may need in the future. When working for the future, you can collect material about achievements throughout your work in your folder. A problem or thematic portfolio is designed a little differently, when all the teachers of the institution study a certain topic, and then the results obtained are compiled in the form of a folder. A person’s own mood and temperament also influence the design of a teacher’s portfolio, which is why we have such a large selection of backgrounds, pictures and frames for design in downloadable materials.

And again, first a sample for design:

And now the design templates:

Title page of teacher's portfolio

When preparing any document, structure is important. Only then does it look holistic, complete, and makes it possible to sum it up. By denying yourself something, the author loses the opportunity to be heard and understood, so it is important to pay attention to the content of the kindergarten teacher’s portfolio:

  1. title page;
  2. introduction;
  3. autobiography or portrait of the teacher;
  4. professional achievements over a specified period;
  5. achievements of pupils;
  6. social activity.

How to submit a portfolio of a senior kindergarten teacher for certification?

The design of a folder of achievements for a senior teacher is significantly different from the work that his colleagues will present. The emphasis should be on methodological work, which is carried out in a team under his leadership. Appendix Art. The educator is filled not only with materials confirming his own achievements, but also with scans of documents that will tell the reader of the document about the achievements of the staff and students of the institution.

How to make a portfolio for a primary or kindergarten teacher?

The portfolio of a teacher of a junior or nursery group is compiled in accordance with the Regulations developed in the preschool educational institution. Almost all sections are filled according to the usual pattern. Some may have difficulty completing the practical part. What achievements can children of the nursery or 1st junior group have? I think so for those who were not in the garden and did not work with these kids. A real teacher knows that there are many of them and they are different, and in order to convince the reader or his head that the work of this teacher is effective and efficient, you can attach video materials on disks. They will be a clear confirmation that the author of the work is an extraordinary person, even though he works in the first junior group, and choose the theme for design and templates yourself from those proposed.

Portfolio of a boarding school teacher - a story about work in a correctional school or boarding school, in a dormitory

Not every teacher works in a kindergarten. Someone had the opportunity, or perhaps was lucky enough, to work as a teacher in a boarding school, in a dormitory where schoolchildren or students live. If another certification is looming on the horizon or you have to change jobs, take the trouble to have a boarding school teacher portfolio in order to adequately present your achievements. Not everyone in our society has enough knowledge about this work. Some people think it has no prospects. Try to dispel all these false doubts by proving that success can be achieved anywhere if you work creatively. And evidence of the portfolio of a teacher at a boarding school for general education or a correctional school, which collects material about the work of this teacher.

Here is a sample portfolio of a teacher at a boarding school for a correctional school, Sherstyuk M.Yu., which was compiled by a teacher working in a special school of type VIII. It’s not easy to work with such kids, but even here there are achievements that are hard to come by, but are not always noticed, so you need to be able to present them.

And now teachers are offered clean, ready-made templates that can become the basis for designing a folder.

Or maybe buy a portfolio for a kindergarten teacher?

Does every teacher have fluent computer skills in order to draw up a portfolio of personal achievements? Unfortunately, not everyone. This problem is especially often faced by people with extensive experience and experience, who are loved by children and respected by their parents. Do you really have to blush during certification by presenting material that does not meet the requirements of modern design? Why, if you can buy or order a ready-made portfolio from specialists. Who said you can't do this? Why don’t we sew a holiday suit for ourselves after reading an amazing article about how easy it is to sew one without any skills? If you are proud of your work, then present it with dignity. And it doesn’t matter who the performer is in this case. The main thing is that you are the author of the idea, the results are there and everyone knows about them, and it doesn’t matter who typed the letters on the computer. In addition, buying a portfolio for a kindergarten teacher is not so expensive, but it will last for more than one year, and, perhaps, will help you win some competition or get a prestigious position. So why deny yourself something that can change your life? Don't add complexity to it, don't create it!

Let every kindergarten teacher have the best portfolio that will make others pay attention to his difficult work and appreciate it.

Elena Terlych

In a year, everyone pupil a huge amount accumulates crafts and drawings. Well, or for the entire period of your stay in the garden. Everyone has it teacher your approach and your vision for this situation: someone collects everything into one folder and at the end of the year he just gives it to his parents in a big pile, some give it home immediately on the day the lesson was held (this happens due to problems with storage - “nowhere”, or some other way.

So I ran into the same problem. How to arrange all this? The idea matured gradually with increasing crafts in crowded closets) I didn’t give it home, I warned my parents about the “surprise”). I asked for each child to bring folder-file folder (at least 20 files per child - it would be better if more). Design folder, of course, better and easier throughout the year. But I did it while on vacation. Photos are attached!

What required:

Patience

Lots of white A4 paper

Computer

-folders with transparent files for each pupil

Mini-discs for recording photos (optional)

Camera or phone with a camera

What does it consist of? folder:

1. Title page

with the child’s surname and name, group number and name, year or period (for which collected folder)

2. "How I came (came) to a kindergarten"

date, weight, height, “what I learned”, “what I learned”

3. Break down the work pupil on blocks,For example

"my drawings", "my origami", "my crafts from plasticine", "my crafts from cereals", etc.

Insert the corresponding crafts, if they are small, then we glue them onto an A4 sheet and sign each work: title of work, goal, date of work or anything else you wish.

4. At the end folders upon completion, we insert a couple of sheets of parting words for parents) and mini-discs (you can take regular discs) with photographs of their babies. The photo was taken during of the year: on the playground, in a group during classes, in physical education, in music, in general, where parents usually don’t see their children. On my computer I divided the photos into folders with children's names. So everyone received a photo of their child directly)

Everything works out individually. Someone the folder is thick, someone has a thin one (visited the garden little). I took each sheet on the computer into a frame, first printed the name of the work and the purpose, and then glued the work itself onto the printed sheet. Not a lot of paint goes away. Of course, there are more sheets. But a pack costs 100 rubles, so there was no problem for me either. And the small photo, which is pasted at the very beginning of each one, was taken from a photographer who usually takes pictures of children at matinees and then brings them in a smaller version for a sample. I took the photo when we were taking pictures with refrigerator magnets, it was just a portrait session.

Something like that. (some photos):

The structure of a children's portfolio for 3-5 years old for kindergarten. Recommendations for compilation, advice.

It's no secret that maintaining a portfolio is encouraged in kindergartens. Now it has become not just fashionable, but already necessary to create a children's portfolio even when children enter kindergarten!
The portfolio of a child aged 3, 4, 5 is a kind of piggy bank of your child’s successes in the main areas of his development.
The criteria that are presented in the approximate basic general education programs “Istoki” (M., 2011), “From birth to school” (M., 2010) have been revised in accordance with the Federal state requirements for compulsory general education programs for preschool institutions.
Maintaining a portfolio will help you establish a closer relationship with your child, spend more time together, create an atmosphere of common interests, and you will be able to timely celebrate your child’s successes and maintain interest in various activities in the following areas:
- social and personal development,
- cognitive and speech development,
- physical development,
- artistic and aesthetic development.
You will help your child develop a tool for self-knowledge “What I am” and gain experience that will be useful to you in the future.
The portfolio will be useful to parents, tutors, teachers, and most importantly - to the kids themselves!
In your portfolio you can include the best drawings, photographs of crafts, observations, notes about your child’s vocabulary, and his growing skills.

What will the portfolio be like?

A children's portfolio must certainly be colorful and bright. Ideally, it will become both a child’s favorite “picture book” and a source of pride.
Explain to your child what kind of “magic book” you are starting to collect together and why. There is no need to be afraid that the child “will not understand” or “will quickly grow cold.”
He will understand! From the age of 3, all children, without exception, love bright books.
It won't cool down! The book about yourself is the most interesting. She will “receive with delight” all creative works, will pay “special attention” to amazing fantasies, and after a while she will “lovingly remind” you of “how little you were just a year ago!”

Title page

A title page for a children's portfolio is almost the same as a beautiful suit for a holiday. This is a kind of face of the whole work. Taking the folder in hand and looking at the title page, teachers or your friends already form a first opinion not only about the baby, but sometimes about the entire family who took part in the preparation of the portfolio.
The title page of a kindergarten portfolio should not be overloaded with information. There will be many interesting pages inside for her, where everything can be painted colorfully and meaningfully. But by looking at the work even briefly, the viewer should glean information about who is the owner of such a weighty, luxurious folder, how old he is and where he lives or studies. Of course, it would be nice if next to this laconic information there is a photo of the owner of the children’s portfolio.
Many people prefer to draw up the first sheet on the computer, although the child wants to contribute his or her part to the creation of this document. Can a little sun, which was drawn with great care and love, spoil the title page? Let him also take part in the creative process, then the child will feel that he, like his mother, can be proud of the beautifully designed folder, because he also drew in it.

Before approaching the design and writing of a teacher’s work program, it is important to know the basic concepts that exist in preschool education.

1) Main educational program - developed by methodological scientists. Preschool institutions take it as a basis for developing their own educational program, taking into account the regional component and local conditions (for example, “From birth to school”, edited by N. E. Veraksa; “Origins”, “Rainbow”, etc.).

2) Educational program of the preschool educational institution - a management document that establishes certain norms, goals, content, technologies and methods, forms and means that are used in each specific preschool institution when organizing the educational process. Developed by the head of the preschool educational institution and the creative team.

3) Teacher's work program – developed by a teacher based on the educational program of the preschool educational institution. The structure and content of the work program is developed taking into account the requirements and standards approved at the federal level (in our case, in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard for Preschool Education, which has been in effect since January 1, 2014). The work program is a normative document and is approved by the head of the preschool institution.
