Hello, the other day I dreamed that I was sitting in a white room next to a man. He had black, thick hair, a small beard and was telling me about history, the Bible, etc. And I confirmed everything that was said to them, and sometimes I didn’t even let them finish. I also dreamed of a large pentagram on a black background. Its two lower ends were turned up, the whole pentagram was burning, there were several more of these, but without fire and they were smaller. Thank you in advance.

I was in church, I came here to illuminate some book with a critical statement, supposedly so that others would not see it and God would forgive the one who wrote it, but after I lit a candle, closed the Bible and placing my left hand on it, I said “Bible” and it was illuminated

public transport stop, a woman about 60 years old is sitting on a bench, I’m standing with a package next to her. She says that I forgot my Bible at home, but without hesitation I took a large Bible from this package (opaque) and gave it from my heart, the book was brown. Before handing it over, I shook out 2 bills from it, some kind of leaf and gave it away. Thank you.

Hello! I had a dream that I was wearing a nun's robe, but underneath I was wearing jeans. I have a Bible in my hands. I smile and feel good. I sit on the swing and don’t swing much and read a book.

Hello! I dreamed that I was walking up large, wide steps, and at the very top there was a large wooden crucifix and I was baptized in front of it, and I saw a large, beautiful book covered in precious stones, and I asked someone what is this the book of Genesis?

Hello, a deceased neighbor knocked on our door, I asked her what you want, and she said give me your Bible, this Bible is mine, I looked at the item that she wanted to take away, it was an icon, not a Bible, until the end of the dream I continued didn't open the door.

I dreamed of some teacher showing me a book. It was made entirely of wood. The color is pleasant light brown, even creamy. I look and understand that this is a Bible, although it doesn’t look like an ordinary one, I admired it, touched its wooden sheets..

In a dream I saw myself entering a church. Then the priest says that we need to go through all the bibles that were lying, as it were, on a stage in the center of the church. There were a lot of people, I was with my mother. I walked up to this stage and touched 7 bibles. 3 lay separately, opposite there were 3 bibles and one was separate. It was difficult to approach her, but I managed.

In a dream I saw that it was the end of the world and everything was so clear, I saw yellow-black clouds and everything was so real, in general, I saw that all my loved ones were leaving in cars and only one car was left and they were rushing me so that I could quickly go home and I started taking all the important things, at first I took my phone charger with me... Then I saw the Bible, it was lying there, I quickly took it and saw another Bible, bigger than that, and it was covered in dust, as if it had not been read for 10 years, and I took this too I was in a hurry and saw another Bible hidden under the blanket, I remember so and this Bible was larger than those two, I took it and I remember there were still important things, but I took the Bibles and left the house, ran into the car and was relieved that I took the books and I I was very happy in my heart, very... And so I woke up)))

My colleague apparently bought a Bible in a beautiful color cover, and so did I, but before that she lent 200 hryvnia to her former colleague. And he died a long time ago, and stood in front of me very nicely dressed. Young and very tall, and I think it’s his wife who dresses like that

I saw a lot of black rats, which were given to me for temporary foster care. I was walking them, but for some reason I had to wet them with water before going outside. Then a cat appeared, which first played with him, and then decided to destroy them. I protected the rats from the cat. It all ended with them becoming afraid of me and running away. I had one thought - that I would not return them in full. What is this for?

I dreamed that I was looking for a Bible... because evil had appeared in a particular building and wanted to take away my friend... loved one and others. For some reason I decided that if I read the prayers, I would save them. But I can’t find it anywhere... I collected it all over the city, found a bunch... and all the same... a lot of old books... but they are written in a language that I can’t read it... in the end, I never had time to find the book.. all the bad things started to happen.. people melted away.. the books were different.. big and small, etc., etc.. but the whole dream I was sure that I would find it.. didn’t give up... and the time when evil was supposed to start acting was exact. 14.00..

I DREAMED AS IF I WAS DANCING IN THE STREET WITH A LITTLE GIRL LOOKING LIKE A BUTTERFLY OR A BIRD, THEN AS IF MY MOTHER AND I WERE IN ANOTHER CITY THERE IS A GLADE THE AIR NATURE IS SO CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL AND I DREAMED OF MONKEYS AS AS IF THIS GLADE HAS BOTH A CHURCH AND A BEAUTIFUL FOREST AND IN THE CHURCH IT’S AS IF I HAVE CHOOSE A CHARM FOR MYSELF AND MERILA’S BRACELET AND IT LOOKS LIKE I HAD TO LEAVE AND I SAY WAIT LET ME BREATH THE AIR AGAIN I’LL BREATH AGAIN IT WAS SO CLEAN AND SO BEAUTY IT WAS

Hello. I was kind of suggested (like a voice, a thought) to become interested in my grandmother’s Bible. Mom's and grandmother's were there.

At first I dreamed of Emperor Nicholas II in a coffin, when I approached him, he raised his hands and sharply lowered them. and then I dreamed that I was trying to hide the bible. everything happens not in our days, but in the early 20th century

Please tell me what it means to find a Bible in a dream?

I clearly remember that I was leafing through the Bible and looking at pictures of archangels with the thought of how big their wings were.

I stood over the coffin of my friend’s father, they gave me a Bible so that I could read some verse over the coffin, but my father turned out to be alive

on the street I found an old Bible, the year 988 was indicated on it, there was a wax seal on the first page. The pages were so old that they broke and crumbled, but some were colored and waxed. There was a young priest next to me, and I immediately gave the book to him, saying, “It will be useful to you, but others can sell it.”

Hello. In the dream, I saw many objects on the table, and among them was the Bible, or rather the new small testament, which I once read in reality a long time ago, and when I recognized my book, I took it and separated it from the rest.

Something happened in my home village and they started evacuating us. There was some kind of holiday in our house at that time and they gave me a small pocket Bible. During the evacuation, we had to go through customs and someone handed me a bag with someone’s things so that I could carry it through customs. I remember that I was very worried about this, and I don’t remember anything else.

I dreamed that we were being pursued (me and two other people). We helped each other escape from our pursuers. I don’t know why we were, but in the dream I understood that it was unfair. They ran away with my help, and they caught me. They started hitting me very hard. I remember three blows to my head, and then... I see a glowing icon, and the white wing of an Angel... and I am in this light. As if I am inside this light.

I came to a woman who knows how to tell fortunes. She gave me a Bible. I leafed through it. She lit a candle and began to read some kind of book.

Hello. Today I dreamed of a huge Bible and next to it a smaller one, beautiful with a golden end. I dreamed of a large land turtle, one of them was dead, I watered it. My husband and I found these turtles at our home. And in the dream, my husband broke my violin. I haven't played it in my life for a long time.

Irrefutable Christian Truths in the Light of the Bible and Science (page 1 of 2)

Topic: Irrefutable Christian Truths in the Light of the Bible and Science

There is no more important question than the question of God. It is he who resolves all other issues, and also resolves the issue of our entire life.

This is not just a question for a scientist or a statesman, but a question for a person in general, and specifically for the whole person, his entire spiritual and moral life.

But if this is a question for the whole person, then at the same time the answer is also a matter for the whole person. It can be solved not only by our thinking ability and cognitive activity. It wouldn't be the whole person. An internal solution is also necessary here. Not only the head should have a voice here, but also the conscience and heart.

After all, God is more accessible to the conscience and heart than to the mind!

Denying God is denying the certainty we have in our spirit; hence the delusion of fluff, which should be impossible.

The highly gifted and witty physicist Lichtenberg
defines. This is a fallacy in its famous prediction:
“Our world will become so refined that believing in God will become as ridiculous as believing in ghosts now (almost 100 years ago). And then the world will become even more refined: then we will only believe in ghosts. “We ourselves will become like gods.”

And the Holy Scripture says: The fool said in his heart: “There is no God” (Ps. 13:1).

There is an immediate confidence in God in our spirit. We absolutely cannot think about the world, about ourselves, without involuntarily connecting with this the thought of God. Through everything visible and finite, our thoughts rush to the highest, invisible, infinite... We must necessarily think about God. The consciousness of God is as essential an element of our spirit as world consciousness and self-consciousness. The thought of God is an internal necessity of work.

We bear witness in our soul, we cannot help but know God and not be confident in Him, the apologists of the first centuries argued. One can, of course, deny this confidence in God, from which one still cannot free oneself. But in this case, you can only convince yourself not to recognize what, however, a person cannot help but know. Atheism is not a necessity of thought, but a matter of will, and precisely a derivative matter of it. The grounds given in favor of atheism usually serve to cover up its real motives. And since often atheists do not go further than the well-known argument of that Hindu who challenged the missionary pepper on the existence of God only on the basis that he does not see Him, to which the latter rightly objected to him that he also does not see the mind of him, the Hindu.

Faith in God is not a science, but a virtue. Her confidence does not grow out of reflection, but exists before any reflection. It is not reason that convinces our heart, but our heart itself that convinces reason, just as in the area of moral truths where the evidence of reason convinces conscience, but conscience convinces reason. Confidence in God lives in our hearts, and therefore also in the thoughts of our minds.

“After all, God wanted,” says Pascal, “for divine truths to enter not through the mind into the heart, but through the heart into the mind, because human affairs must be known in order to love them, and divine ones must be loved in order to know them. »

The existence of God is proven by the nature around us. “The heavens proclaim the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims the work of His hands. Day D1110 conveys speech, and the night of night reveals knowledge. There is no language or speech where their voice is not heard” (Ps. 18:2-4).

This thought runs through all of Scripture and finds a living echo within us. Nature involuntarily awakens in us a premonition of the infinite.

I am never in the forest without the thought coming into my head about who, however, gives the trees the strength to grow, and then, from afar and close to me, the feeling of something invisible does not appear to me, and I am ready to hold bet that then I think about God, because at the same time I am filled with deep and joyful reverence.

God’s influence embraces us everywhere.” In it we live, move and have our being.” How can you free yourself from this influence? “Where will I go from Your Spirit, and where will I flee from Your presence?” (Ps. 139:7).

Just as the invisible soul finds visible expression on a person’s face, so nature, being, as it were, the face of God, manifests the innermost spirit living in it. But, of course, for this you need to have the idea of God in advance. Only through it can nature speak.

Nature is, as it were, a scripture consisting of only consonants. we must add vowels to it ourselves in order to be able to read this scripture. All objects hide some kind of secret. They encourage us to open this secret. And the last mystery is God. But to find God, one must seek Him; to seek Him, you need to know Him; and to know Him, you need to love Him.

Those who do not want to know anything about God do not find Him in nature either, and for them it rather gives only cause for doubt. Just as all objects speak of God to those who know Him, and reveal Him to those who love Him, so at the same time they hide Him from all those who do not know Him.

First of all, His existence proclaims to us and proves His existence - the very existence of the world. The world exists; therefore, the creator of the world must also exist.

All the objects around us take us beyond ourselves; not one of the vitas offers the opportunity to dwell on it; all this is only a pointer that points lamas to something more distant and, leading beyond the limits of nature, points to the supernatural, which we are looking for outside the world and where the world itself leads us - there is God, personal God, the personal power of the world.

Bl. Augustine, in one brilliant passage of his Confessions, writes:

“I asked the earth, and she told me: it’s not me; and everything that recognized the same in her. I asked the sea, and the abysses, and everything that moves and lives there, and they answered me: we are not your God, look higher. I asked the raging winds, and all the air with all its inhabitants answered me: I am not God. I asked the sky, the sun, the moon and the stars, and she told me: we, too, are not the God you are looking for. And I said to everything that surrounds me: you told me about my God that you are not He, so tell me about Him! And they all exclaimed in a loud voice: “HE CREATED US!”

All objects have their own special language for us, and we can understand it. Their language is evidence of God the Creator.

The history of nations proves the existence of God. But we do not need to dive into the sea of history and explore its mysteries in order to find God. In our own lives, everyone can find the ruling, guiding and providing hand of God, if only we will open our eyes, if only we will believe what we see and experience, and how often we experience it to our deepest shame! Everyone's experience will undoubtedly show that God guides everyone, every individual, and leads him exactly in the way he needs.

Having thus found God in the world, in its Existence, its order, its history, we then find Him also in our own spirit if we obey His will.

Why can we find God in our own spirit, in our spiritual qualities, in our mental abilities, different from all animals? This question is answered in the first chapter of Genesis, verse 27:

“And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him. »

He who does not know God does not know himself!

2. Historical reality of the PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST

What captivates us so much in the Gospels is precisely the historical reality of the person of Jesus Christ. It is she who arouses all our interest.

Renan became convinced that the power of history was too great to be transformed into myths, as Strauss did. His book in this respect represents a step back compared to Strauss. He pays his tribute to historical reality.

The philosophical spirit of the German, that is, Strauss, could be limited to abstractions and ideas, but the more real spirit of the Frenchman (Renan) requires historical facts. He rightly says that the extraordinary effect that Jesus exerted must correspond to a reason that lies in his personality, that Jesus cannot be an invention of his life writers, that the gospel story must represent essentially reality.

When reviewing the very terrain in which this story took place, it acquired a conscious vitality for him. Jesus, in his opinion, is “a man of extraordinary proportions.” Noon tries to avoid confessions that he could not make in accordance with his general naturalistic worldview. He resorts to beautiful pompous words in order not to say one word, namely, that the PERSON OF JESUS IS A MIRACLE and the essential grain of His story is supernatural.

After all, he resolutely denies supernatural existence and miracles, since he generally does not recognize any real world beyond this finite world, and no personal and free God, just as he does not recognize personal immortality. Meanwhile, miracles constitute an essential part of the life of Christ. Then he is more likely to denounce them for deception than to admit that we are dealing with supernatural forces.

Let us turn to the primary sources, the Gospels, to consider in what form they present to us the personality of Jesus Christ. First of all, let's say a little about the Gospels themselves in general.

Jesus Christ Himself did not compose or leave behind any writings. He was not a philosopher or founder of a religion in the ordinary sense of the word. His person and His work are His writings, which He inscribed with majestic features into the history of mankind; and the influence of His Spirit upon our hearts—these are the writings which He daily still writes upon us with indelible marks. But His disciples also compiled books from which we become more familiar with Him, and thanks to which the testimony of Him has been preserved and supported, spreading throughout the world since the day of Pentecost.

The second article in defense and denunciation of Ignatius Tikhonovich Lapkin. Why is Ignatius Tikhonovich Lapkin interesting to me?

Ignatiy Tikhonovich Lapkin in his one-room house in Poteryayevka. Extremely simple environment and constant work chaos

This article and all subsequent materials are an addition to this conversation:

  • Introduction. Hypocrisy is a disaster for a missionary. My debt
  • My response to the incompetent and hypocritical critics of Ignatius Lapkin
  • Why will they kill Lapkin if he doesn’t come to his senses? My criticism of "Lapkinism"

Why is Ignatius Tikhonovich Lapkin interesting to me?

Confessor of the Faith. During Soviet times, he served four times in a pre-trial detention center and once in a colony. His amazing biography of this period can be found in the book: "There are no bonds for the word of God...". In pre-trial detention centers and colonies, he managed not only to spend many hours praying and reading the Holy Scriptures, but also to preach to prisoners and guards. A worthwhile experience of being in bondage will be of great benefit to Christians in the last times.

After the trial in 1986 (arrested on January 9, 1986, court verdict - July 10, 1986). Sentenced for criticizing the Soviet regime and distributing anti-Soviet and Orthodox books in audio format to two years and six months in a general regime forced labor colony (Article 190-1 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR). Friends and sympathizing believers throw flowers. Released under Gorbachev's amnesty on March 25, 1987.

A person with great zeal for faith and its purity. He came from a family of priestless Old Believers. Then he turned to Orthodoxy. From his youth, in his words, he avoided mortal vices.

Preacher and missionary with extensive experience in lecturing and missionary activities Thousands of speeches at universities, various government agencies, law enforcement agencies, prisons... A missionary who was able to organize repeated missionary trips across Russia and Europe, countless missionary sermons on the street, distribution of the Gospels - there is no need to talk about.

Ascetic. Following the example of King David, “Seven times a day I glorify You for the judgments of Your righteousness” (Ps. 119:164) He gets up to pray seven times during the day, does not eat meat for half a century, especially shuns pork, does not drink alcohol, tea, coffee in order to not to give temptation to Muslims and various sectarians “And therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I cause my brother to stumble” (1 Cor. 8:13), sleeps no more than 5 hours a day, often even less, when I was young, sometimes my sleep was cut to 2 - 3 hours; the wife has been living for a long time in the other half of the house with a separate entrance, dresses extremely modestly (more precisely, like a real homeless person) and lives in very modest conditions, while spending (and considerable) donations on helping the needy, the mission, organizing an annual summer Orthodox children's camp and development of the village of Poteryayevka.

Letter of gratitude to the Poteryevo community from Archbishop of Tomsk and Asinovsky Rostislav

A man of incredible hard work and activity, a workaholic. Battery Man. Already in Soviet times, he spent 9/10 of his earnings on preaching Orthodoxy. In order to organize the free distribution of thousands and thousands of tape recordings to believers with the lives of the Saints, the works of St. John Chrysostom, at official work he gave out at least 200% of the production norm (he worked at a construction site), after work he put on stoves, etc.

Answer from Metropolitan of Barnaul and Altai Sergius Ivannikov to the editor-in-chief of the Russian People's Line portal Anatoly Stepanov about Ignatius Lapkin. If all our archpastors defended their own, like this metropolitan defended strangers...

A man of great erudition, intelligence and memory. Knows by heart significant passages from the Holy Scriptures, indicating chapters and verses, as well as the works of the Holy Fathers.

An apologist with positive experience in converting people from sects, living in lack of faith and sins. Many sectarians converted under his influence, some even became Orthodox priests.

A man with half a century (more precisely 44 years) of experience in organizing a children's Orthodox (!) labor camp. Anyone who has ever organized a children's camp, even for a week, understands the stress and organizational talent this requires. His camp, designated as “Orthodox” from the first years, began to operate in Soviet times, and despite the titanic efforts of the authorities and the media both in Soviet times and under our “democracy”, the camp has not yet been closed and banned.

Ignatius Lapkin in the children's Orthodox labor camp in Poteryayevka

Teacher with interesting and noteworthy pedagogical experience in raising children, incl. with deviant behavior.

He has written almost 40 volumes of books. Basically, these are answers to numerous questions asked by people during his lectures at universities, etc., as well as his sermons and poems. He wrote a symphony on the lives of saints, a symphony on the canons of the Orthodox Church, a symphony on the non-canonical books of the Old Testament. I was able to find money and publish these books, which is also an important fact.

Books by Ignatius Tikhonovich Lapkin. In the foreground, in red binding, is an edition of the New Testament with interpretations of Theophylact of Bulgaria. The publication is decorated with hundreds of engravings by Gustav Doré, made in color

Created two websites and a popular video channel. His video conversations are tens of times more interesting to people than the sermons and conversations of many priests and even metropolitans. And even more so, video conversations are much more interesting than video sermons and evangelical conversations of his critics.

Of course, I’ll make a reservation that all this has been done and is being done with the help of friends and like-minded people.

He stood at the origins of the restoration of the village of Poteryayevka and two Orthodox communities living a certain religious-ascetic way of life. In the communities of the Lapkin brothers (they are cared for by Archpriest Joachim), a way of life has developed that cannot but attract the attention of Christians who are zealous for piety and loyalty to past Orthodox traditions and canons.

Adults who wish to be baptized undergo the catechumen for about three years, and they are required to listen to more than 500 hours of catechumen conversations, attend the Liturgy of the catechumens during this entire time, and after an appropriate exclamation leave the temple. Baptism occurs only after a person has passed the specified catechumen, then the test of his faith, and received recommendations from the parish council. People are baptized once a year in Poteryayevka by three times full immersion. After the Liturgy (where the catechumens stand in the church only until the cry “depart, catechumens”) the entire community goes in procession to the pond, where people are baptized amid common prayer and joy.

The Lapkin brothers believe that if baptism was performed by sprinkling or urination, in violation of the ancient patristic norm of three times full immersion, and even for a bribe (such as a “donation”), then such baptism must be perceived as not having been accomplished, and such people must be baptized correctly. By the way, Saint Luke of Voino-Yasenetsky shared the same opinion:

  • An Exhortation on the Right and Worthy Practice of the Greatest and Most Holy Sacrament of Baptism(from official bishop's decrees) - St. Luke Voino-Yasenetsky

During the Baptism of adults, which takes place once a year in a pond near the village of Poteryayevka, the entire community is present and prays.

I can sadly state what joy, celebration and experience the priests of the Russian Orthodox Church have been deprived of and are still depriving of by “baptizing” Russians by sprinkling them, quietly, without the participation of the entire community, without announcement or testing of faith.

In parishes there is no bribe for performing the Sacraments and requirements. All parishioners are required to pay tithes.

They even make the candles themselves, and each one puts them out for free at their own discretion. However, the tithe makes the foolish smoking of the temple with candles in the presence of electric lighting meaningless. Selling candles is not a source of income for the priest.

This is a man who is clearly in the clutches of the devil, he is in a state of the deepest spiritual delusion of conceit. In his youth, not having a good spiritual mentor, Ignatius was unable to perceive the true spirit of Orthodoxy, deviating from, or rather not finding, the true patristic teaching, he began to compose his own religion - Lapkovism. Although, here we can say that the circumstances surrounding him were not decisive for the formation of this phenomenon, which I call “Lapkovism.” It would be more correct to say that after all, Lapkin became the modern, visible “Lapkin”, thanks to himself - this is his choice. He was struck by the devil with the passion of pride and exceptional conceit. Moreover, it should be noted that the devil tempted him by speculating on the real ills of the Church, for the healing of which we must pray, and not rebel, and overcome them with the spirit of the true meekness of Christ. He imagined himself to be a prophet, a great teacher, a man to whom God in a special, exceptional way opened his eyes to the current state of the Church.

Lapkin is a person who is completely unaware of smart work, the ascetic patristic experience of the Holy Orthodox Church. With regard to Lapkin’s knowledge of the Love of the crucified Christ, the following can be said - He lost it. At the moment, his behavior is in clear contradiction with the Christian teaching about love for neighbors. Lacking the experienced humility that the Holy Fathers of the Church teach about, he became confused and lost the gift of Christ’s Love, which he obviously had at the very beginning of his spiritual path.

Does productivity have the so-called sermon by Ignatius Tikhonovich Lapkin? Do the trips of this self-appointed “missionary” have any real benefit? I feel sorry for him, Ignatius has completely lost his way in his self-exaltation... The dictates of Ignatius’s personal views on the understanding of the Holy Scriptures cannot be astonishing with overt obsession! Poteryayevka’s entire life is strictly regulated by the worldview of her “guru,” whose spiritual orders are not subject to discussion!

The unauthorized speculation with the texts of the Bible is amazing, the cynical disregard for the opinion of the holy fathers with the simultaneous hypocritical regulation of obedience to them! Vanity literally flows from everywhere from any activity of the “legendary” Igla. What kind of reverence for the Bible can we even talk about in Lapkin’s activities???? Rather, we are talking about reverence for one’s own truly heretical understanding of the Bible! Just look at the statement about the need for Old Testament circumcision in the New Testament, as well as the Gospel desecration of the corpse of any person! (this is where the reason for Lapkin’s hatred of the Orthodox veneration of relics lies) What nonsense! According to Lapkin, even the corpse of Jesus taken from the Cross could be desecrated! Resourcefulness, casuistic speculation, failure to admit any of his mistakes - all this is a typical example of primitive sectarian totalitarianism, which permeates the entire rhythm of the internal and external life of the Altai eccentric “elder”, who paradoxically hates the Holy Church! It is sad that Ignatius himself “sacredly” believes in his own infallibility and is not even aware of the deep tragedy of his errors. All of Lapkin’s students are in fact in passionate submission not to God through the Bible, but to their idol - Ignatius Tikhonovich Lapkin through the Bible... Contempt for the priesthood, primitive ritualistic Pharisaic formalism, almost complete absence of a truly Christian peaceful spirit of prayer, ignoring the ancient Christian experience of grace communion with God, hatred of monasticism with a complete misunderstanding of the deep essence of the latter. “Typical scolding” in the worst sense of the word in the absence of any system (the persistent assertion that the Greek word “baptismos” is always immersion, but this is not so), very quick and bold generalizations bordering on outright blasphemous distortion of facts! You will get all this when communicating with Ignatius Lapkin, who has the natural charm of a “pleasant” interlocutor!

Ignatius Lapkin claims that in his communities every single canon is observed, but this is an obvious lie. Did the fathers of the councils think that their canons are the rules, these standards of life will ultimately become a temptation for almost any person of our modern era?... Alas, this incident of the canons can be easily seen even without the magnifying glass of neophyte jealousy. Does Brother Ignatius understand that he wants to drive the modern Church into almost complete isolation? The canon law of the ancient holy fathers, in its essence, expels all our contemporaries from the church fence, and you and I, brother Ignatius, are of course no exception. Stubbornly, uncompromisingly following not the spirit, but the letter of the law of the canons, mercilessly denouncing their “violators,” while forgetting how easily and quickly the Lord forgives the repentant thief on the Cross - all this is nothing more than the sin of the merciless Pharisee who crucified Christ, who did not keep the Sabbath and other human creations, which of course had its positive relevance in its time. Apparently Brother Ignatius forgot the classic phrase of Christ: “the Sabbath is for man’s sake, and not man for the sake of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:27), which can be safely paraphrased for you: “the canon is for man’s sake, and not man for the sake of the canon.”

While denouncing others, Ignatius for some reason does not notice obvious violations in himself. Categorically rejecting any principles of church oikonomia, proclaiming the unconditionality and absoluteness of the principle of akrivia, he himself, one way or another, rejects the latter. For example, clearly in the communities of the Lapkin brothers, the 39th apostolic canon is violated, which says the following: “Presbyters and deacons do nothing without the will of the bishop. For the people of the Lord are entrusted to him, and he will give an answer for their souls.” Ignatius Lapkin’s brother, Archpriest Joachim Lapkin, has 2 Decrees in his hands: 1st Decree - by the First Hierarch of the ROCOR MP, Metropolitan Hilarion, that these two church communities of Barnaul and Poteryayevka are not part of the ROCOR, and their former ruling bishop blesses them to enter under Omophorion of Bishop Sergius of the Barnaul Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church MP. Is it possible to violate the bishop’s blessing, not listen to him, etc.? Is it not the will of the bishop precisely in this blessing, which Archpriest Joachim Lapkin does not fulfill, thereby violating the 39th apostolic rule and exposing all his sacred rites as banal lawlessness? Apparently for Ignatius Lapkin and his younger brother Archpriest Joachim Lapkin, Metropolitan Hilarion should have said “I command” and not “I bless”. And in general, the Lapkin brothers have a strange understanding of blessing, deliberately negative. They, in order to justify their own self-invented independence of lawlessness, for some reason consider any blessing by the bishop for a priest to act as just a recommendation, some kind of courage of a “capricious” ruler who has no right to tell them what to do... With what hypocrisy, what Even with a pagan worldview, Ignatius Lapkin is suitable for the blessing of the episcopate! The main thing is the wave of the bishop’s hand, he is the translator of the grace of ordination, the bishop’s opinion is not important, the main thing here is to observe the form of imaginary submission, the grace of the priesthood works independently of the bearer of divine grace. Touch the hand of the ordained and commit any lawlessness that comes into your head...

Regarding the 2nd Decree issued to Archpriest Joachim Lapkin on the mandatory statutory commemoration of the patriarch and his ruling bishop Bishop Sergius, which Father Joachim does not deign to carry out - this is simply a classic schismatic rebellion, which claims to be the final measure of episcopal power, separating itself as de jure and de facto from canonical Orthodoxy. “It is I who decide who my bishop is. Me and no one else. I am not interested in your priestly fables about canonical territories. I am God’s Chosen One, who is called to preach by denouncing the ordained fierce wolves who have captured the Lord’s sheepfold!” Tell me, is this the ravings of a madman? No, this is the quintessence of the sermons of Ignatius Lapkin and his younger brother Archpriest Joachim Lapkin, who are increasingly luring the faithful children of canonical Orthodoxy who have been deceived by them into this actually schismatic-sectarian structure. We are faced with an unprecedented discreditation of the canonical Church, and the main blow is being made specifically to the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. This “new” phenomenon of Lapkovism requires a prompt professional sectological assessment and analysis by leading sectologists of canonical Orthodoxy.

Priest Sergius Dudin,

Tomsk diocese

Lapkin Ignatius Tikhonovich, born June 10, 1939. He believed that there is a God, an afterlife, heaven and hell from infancy. But according to the Gospel, he believed in Christ only on September 27, 1962 - on the day of the Exaltation of the Cross of the Lord.

I fell in love with Christ and the Bible, and have been studying the Word of God for almost forty years. Born into an Old Believer, priestless (Kerzhak) family, he received a Bible from Pentecostal Baptists in Ventspils - Latvia. The Great God in the Holy Trinity preserved me in Orthodoxy, which I acquired not only from the instructions of my mother Mary, from my grandfather (mother’s father) Yegor, but also from Uncle Stepan (my father’s brother Tikhon), who, like my grandfather (paternal) Dimitri belonged to the Old Believers of the Belokrinitsky Consent. There, over me and my brother Joachim (he is five years younger than me) and “completed” with Confirmation Fr. Roman (Pavlov), secretly at home in 1962, because the Old Believer Kerzhak mentor, Grandfather Terenty, who baptized us by triple immersion, was not an ordained priest in the village. Snatch.

Having converted and believed in Christ according to the Gospel, he went to the temple of the Moscow Patriarchate in Ventspils. And what did you see? A smoking, drunken priest. I asked for the Gospel in Russian. They told me that my father drank it away...
I have already read the Bible (in 3.5 months) and remembered a lot. He took notes, preached from the pulpit of Baptists and on the ship “Chernomorets” - where he worked as a 1st class sailor and studied to be a navigator. I flew on vacation rather to testify to the joy that Christ died for my sins and accepted me. I went to the Moscow Theological Seminary-Academy and talked for a long time with priests and seminarians.
...The first shock did not pass for 40 years - I found this everywhere, wherever I was: in Moscow, in all the republics and abroad - neither people, nor parishioners, nor priests in the majority love or know the Bible, Christ. And they don’t want to know! The sermon, the call for them to return to the Apostolic ministry, evoked everywhere only terrible anger and threats. I was captured, betrayed, imprisoned. Terrible worldliness, ugly, disorderly vacillation of the masses, the bazaar, spiritual darkness - and every year it gets thicker, darker. Completely desecrated, secularized, non-evangelical, anti-canonical “Orthodoxy”.

What to do? Where is the exit? We tried to help priests and organized Bible courses in Barnaul. But we could not save those who repented and turned from darkness to light, because we returned them to the same misfortune, to the MP. The Chekist priests betrayed us, wrote lists to the KGB, to the police - where to go?
For a long time they were looking for good priests, a true bishop. How to get rid of simony, payment for the sacraments, and demands? How to remove trade from the temple? Where could one properly baptize? How can a church become not a passing yard, not a bazaar? How to achieve silence and order so that all the canons of the councils are observed? Everywhere there is a hole and a dead end, complete hopelessness. There is death in the sect; there are no bishops or priests truly ordained in succession from the Apostles; although the Word of God is preached, it is with great errors and heresies. This is true in all sects, starting with Baptists, Adventists, and Pentecostals. And in the official state Church there is chaos and bedlam, gravity. The situation was never under control (Acts 5:13), and no one there needs it.
A completely new religion has been created under the name and appearance of Orthodoxy. The main thing there: statutory worship and services. And everywhere there is money, total lies, cowardice and self-interest. And for this we need beautiful temple buildings, domes, relics, myrrh-streaming icons, miracles, canonizations, vestments, censers, hired choirs of atheists, and everywhere money, money, money.
He wrote about this misfortune to Patriarch Pimen and Metropolitan Gideon of Novosibirsk-Altai. The response was deathly silence, then prison, camp.
All the years I prayed and gave alms so that the atheistic regime, the bloody camarilla of the CPSU, would collapse, so that A.I. Solzhenitsyn would return to Russia, so that the Word of God would sound in the Church in a native, understandable language, and in the Church there would be only our own, not strangers, there is order in everything, silence, brotherhood, love. I remember the summer of 1980, when Heinrich Fast from the Mennonites came to Orthodoxy. Now he is the dean of the Yenisei district. We reasoned, planned what and how to arrange for the Spirit of God to reign in the Church, but we could not come to anything, because everything rests on the government, neo-renovationist MP. The Old Believers with the priesthood have stagnation, lifelessness, and dislike for the Bible. Catholicism and the papacy are hostile to Russia, full of heresies and lies.

Perestroika began, the brilliant idea of Freemasonry, through M. S. Gorbachev. Glasnost, freedom, the opening of the “Iron Curtain”, the parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church, preserved abroad from the first White Guard emigration, became known.
A real opportunity has emerged to remain Orthodox, to have a legitimate bishop and priest not associated with the KGB and the CPSU. Not only had we not heard about the Russian Church Abroad before, but we didn’t even know about its existence. The opening of ROCOR parishes in Russia is God’s providence. To the seventy-year-old cry of the sufferers in chains and catacombs, those who suffered in soul, going to the churches of the MP, seeing the betrayal and worldliness that permeated everything that comes into contact with the church hierarchy. For such people, the opening of Russian Orthodox Church parishes is a great mercy, a gift from God from heaven, an answer to tears and prayers. We didn’t need to be persuaded to tell us something good about the Russian Orthodox Church. We rushed to them in the same way as a prisoner, seeing a prison open, runs towards the light, towards freedom.
Without idealizing morality in the ROCOR, over the 10 years of its existence we have been convinced of its relative health: both in the free functioning of our community, and the priest from us was not moved to another parish, sending another without taking into account the opinion of the community.
The past decade has been golden for our small community, formed from scratch.
In 1989, persecution from Archbishop Theodosius of Omsk prompted five clergy to submit a petition to the Synod of the ROCOR to accept them under its omophorion. Among them was Fr. Eutychius (now Bishop of Ishim and Siberia) and Fr. Joachim (our father).
The first services of the Free Church were in the village. Poteryayevka in a children's camp in a large army tent with an attached altar.
In Barnaul, the first services began to be held on the street. Nikitina 147-1, on the second floor of an old wooden house leaning towards the street.
The Synod of Bishops of the ROCOR issues decree No. 7/90/12 of January 14, 1991 “...according to your request, with the blessing of Metropolitan. Vitaly, the Holy Cross community of Barnaul is accepted into the fold of the Free Russian Orthodox Church...”
On Easter, April 7, 1991, Metropolitan Vitaly sent a blessed letter to Lapkin I. T.: “We are teaching Lapkin Ignatius Tikhonovich God’s blessing for comprehensive missionary activity - preaching the Word of God, protecting and strengthening the faith in the Russian Orthodox Church.”
On December 10, 1990, in issue No. 27 (367), the newspaper “For Science” of Altai State University published the material: “We only moved away from the Moscow Patriarchate” - an application for registration of the community and for receiving the St. Nicholas Church. “Life of Altai” for December 14, 1990, No. 7 (1753) repeated this statement without abbreviations, next to the message of the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad dated May 3/16, 1990 and about the execution of Tsar Nicholas II. “Youth of Altai” briefly announced the announcement of the opening of the ROCOR parish.
What to call the community? The raising of the Cross over the camp-camp is seen as a prototype of the preaching of the Cross (1 Cor. 1:18) in Russia. Holy Cross!
We are asked to start petitioning for the former chapel in the park of the Melange Plant, where the planetarium is now located (Dec. 1990).
An attempt to find out the history of the chapel, its name. Not found in the archives. The administration's responses are negative. Finally we find out that the Church of the Exaltation of the Cross was located in the planetarium building! Coincidence?
The Old Believers Exaltation of the Cross community operated in Barnaul until the execution of its clergy in 1937. There were 672 people in it, of which 348 lived in Barnaul, the community was registered on May 28, 1908. The Church Council of 8 people. Priest - Ignatius Tikhonovich Chuchalin. (My date of birth according to the old style: May 28 - IgLa).
It was as if everything had happened again. Coincidence?
Ordeals begin due to the refusal to register the community. Lapkin I.T. was accepted 32 times in the justice department alone.
Suzdal Archimandrite Valentin (Rusantsov) sent a warning to the regional department of justice that if the registration of our community is prevented, he will complain.
Thanks to this assistance, the justice department of the Altai Regional Executive Committee issues a certificate of registration of the charter of the religious association (dated December 6, 1991 No. 23), the Holy Cross community of Barnaul, Suzdal diocese of the Russian Orthodox Free Church. Signed by V. Ulyanov. Accidentally?
On August 11, 1995, the Exaltation of the Cross community of the ROCOR was registered under No. 23, despite fierce resistance from the MP, their slanderous articles in the press, and media statements.
