This year, 33 sites and 16 points have been specially prepared for this, where launchers will be installed. During the salute, tens of thousands of volleys of gold, orange, green, red and purple colors will be fired into the sky. Previously, there were much more of these points, but the authorities decided to reduce the number of sites.

Poklonnaya Gora will become the main platform, as fireworks will be launched from 2 points there. At the same time, fireworks will be visible on Sparrow Hills, Luzhnetskaya and Moskvoretskaya embankments, in the Zaryadye park.

Fireworks will also fly over 17 Moscow parks: Krasnaya Presnya; garden "Hermitage"; Tagansky; garden them. Bauman; Babushkinsky; Lianozovsky; "Sokolniki"; Izmailovsky; Lilac Garden; Perovsky; "Gardeners"; 50th anniversary of October; Vorontsovsky; "Kuzminki".

The fireworks of 2018 will be as similar as possible to the one that was launched into the sky in 1945. Huge searchlights, which were directed into the sky during the war, will also be used.

The administration of the capital explained that about 80,000 volleys should be fired throughout the salute. Fireworks will be not only multicolored, but also made in the form of flowers - chrysanthemums, peonies and balls. In total, it is planned to use almost 50 types of fireworks.

Several parks have specially designed fireworks scenarios. Each of 17 Moscow parks will host a festive program.
