Secrets of the world mind and clairvoyance. Esoterics

Parapsychology - a science that studies the phenomena of transmission and reading of thoughts at a distance - belongs to a predominantly ancient and least explored area of human knowledge, covering a significant range of issues of psychology, physiology and the propagation of electromagnetic vibrations.
We have irrefutable evidence at our disposal that already at the dawn of its development, human society was well acquainted with the mysterious phenomena of the transmission of thoughts without the help of a secondary signaling system, which, according to Pavlov, is human speech. This is evidenced by a lot of legends, fairy tales and legends that have come down to us from ancient times.
The low level of knowledge at the initial stage of development of human society certainly led to the fact that the parapsychological phenomena observed during that period of time were shrouded in a religious and mystical haze.
Firmly discarding the religious husk, we have the right to extract from it a grain of facts and analyze them from an exclusively scientific position.
We find the first touch on parapsychological phenomena in the myth of the Fall, in which the Serpent inspired Eve with the idea of stealing an apple from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. It is quite natural that between the mute serpent and Eve any possibility of communication through speech is excluded. We must also discard the assumption that Eve's psyche was influenced by suggestive gestures, since snakes do not have limbs. Thus, we can only assume that the image of the apple was evoked in Eve’s mind through suggestion at a distance.
Along with the accumulation of human knowledge of a purely applied nature, the range of facts in the field of transmitting thoughts at a distance has steadily expanded.
Just as modern chemistry considers alchemy to be its ancestor, so parapsychology traces its origins to telepathy. However, by borrowing the object of study from telepathy, parapsychology radically changed the idealistic ideas underlying this science. Instead of the term "soul", used by telepaths, parapsychologists use the concept of "personality". The word "medium" has been replaced by the scientific term "percipient". The mystical idea of telepaths about “magnetic force” in modern parapsychology has been replaced by the concept of the inductive ability of the suggestor.
The facts available to parapsychologists allow us to divide parapsychological influences into the following categories:
1. Suggestion of sensations.
2. Premonitions of one person regarding another, who is in a parapsychological connection with him.
3. Suggestion of images.
4. Reading other people's thoughts.
An exceptionally convincing example of the suggestion of sensations is given by the famous French parapsychologist Henri Trompluer in his sensational book “Or maybe...”.
While traveling with his friend, he once stopped at a small provincial hotel. The bed on which Professor Trompluer slept, as it turned out, was literally infested with bedbugs. He could not sleep all night because of the burning and itching sensation throughout his body. Imagine his surprise when in the morning it was discovered that his friend, who was sleeping in another room (I especially emphasize this circumstance), experienced the same sensations that same night!
A very interesting telepath... excuse me, parapsychological phenomenon was reported at a meeting of the St. Petersburg Society of Telepaths on July 12, 1895.
Captain Valetov, who lived with his wife for fifteen years, left for the Caucasus without her. Ten days later, while treating her friends to coffee, at twelve o’clock in the afternoon the wife unexpectedly (unexpectedly) exclaimed:
- My Kolka probably lost at cards again!
At the meeting of the Society, a recording was shown, confirmed by notarized testimony, indicating that it was at this time that Valetov, having announced the Grand Slam of Hearts, was left without four bribes.
I was lucky enough to observe (with my eyes) the variety of parapsychological relationships that I encountered only a few times, and actually reading other people’s thoughts in 1912. Being a student at Moscow University at that time, I took an exam in philosophy to the famous scientist, Professor B.
After listening to me carefully, he suddenly announced:
“I see that you haven’t read Kant, but your thoughts are only about porter and billiard rooms.”
This ability to accurately read other people’s thoughts so amazed my imagination that this very day became a turning point in my destiny, determining all my future activities in the field of parapsychology.
It is necessary to dwell in somewhat more detail on the problem of image suggestion, since, apparently, this type of parapsychological connection is the most widespread.
The following experiment was carried out in our laboratory.
The inductor and recipient were placed in isolated rooms and were deprived of food for a long time. Afterwards, they were asked to bring in images that involuntarily appeared in their minds. Naturally, the peculiarities of the physiological state in which they were predisposed to the appearance of mainly images of food.
As a result, the following information on coincidences was obtained, much superior to coincidences of a random order (see probability theory):
Bakery products - 75 percent of matches.
Meat dishes - 83 percent of matches.
Hot soups - 87.3 percent of matches.
It should be noted that shielding the recipient with a metal screen did not significantly change the distribution of hits.
It has been found that exposure of the cerebral cortex to certain chemical agents significantly enhances parapsychological communication.
The inducer and the percipient, placed after the injection of a significant dose of alcohol into isolated dark rooms, clearly saw the devils and described their appearance in the same terms. The effect was significantly enhanced by the introduction of alcohol and plant colloids from red pepper extract and weakened by the simultaneous introduction of food with alcohol. The last circumstance is easy to explain if we remember what a strong irritant, according to Pavlov, food is.
I have presented a relatively small number of facts that can dispel the mistrust that, unfortunately, many skeptics have towards parapsychology as a science. Just the facts, as Ampere said.
In conclusion, I would like to dwell on the significance that the further development of parapsychology may have.
We live in an era characterized by a steady decrease in the expenditure of human energy in the total amount of work performed.
The worker presses the trigger button, and powerful fountains of water fall on the coal seam, crushing it into small pieces. At the touch of a button, multi-ton cranes are activated to lift heavy loads.
It's time to pose a new problem: reducing the consumption of mental energy per unit of scientific production.
The work of a scientist is not always expressed in such concrete things as a spaceship or a nuclear power plant. Sometimes his activities are much more modest, expressed in lectures, articles, and public appearances. Reading the minds of others will be of invaluable service in these areas of scientific work, facilitating such forms of collaboration as borrowing and compilation.
Physicists often ask us:
“How do you think a thought spreads in space?”
Parapsychologists answer this question:
“Tell me yourself, that’s what you’re physicists for!”

Tibetan Lamaism and parapsychology

M Many people associate Tibet with mysticism, just as the enlightened West associates it with rationalism and the supremacy of science. But this is not entirely true. Parapsychological phenomena in the West are explained by the intervention of otherworldly forces. In Tibet they are considered the result of a manifestation of the human psyche. Tibetans distinguish two categories of parapsychological phenomena. The first category includes those phenomena that are caused by one person or group of people unconsciously. This happens against their will, apart from their conscious intervention. Therefore, the parapsychological phenomena occurring in this case do not pursue any purpose, they are not caused in the interests of one person or group of people. The second category includes those parapsychological phenomena that are caused consciously. They are most often carried out by an individual, but can also be carried out by a group of people.

In Tibet, there is an almost universally widespread idea that everything that happens in the world is strictly determined (determined) by what has already happened before. Moreover, this “previously” can mean a day, a year, a hundred years, and even a thousand. Any phenomenon caused consciously or unconsciously is deterministic. There is no arbitrariness and there cannot be. Parapsychological phenomena can be caused by reasons that generate in a person the will to create these phenomena, or by reasons that activate hidden forces in him without his knowledge, as well as by external causes that contribute to the emergence of a phenomenon independent of the human creator. It is more difficult to trace the effects of causes that are distant in time by tens or hundreds of years. The Tibetans call such causes “offspring” of causes. They can only be judged by the consequences that are currently manifesting themselves.

Tibetans use such a global term as “thought concentration” to explain parapsychological phenomena. This term is also used by Western parapsychologists, who, however, fill it with words behind which it is impossible to discern any real content. Thus, professors at the Munich Institute of Parapsychology say on every page of their textbooks that if the wavelength of one person does not coincide with the wavelength of another, then telepathic communication between them is difficult. But ask them what this wavelength is, and they won’t be able to say anything intelligible. This is simply an attempt to put my misunderstanding into modern scientific terms. A very poor attempt that will only alienate people.

As for the concentration of thought, according to Tibetan ideas it is not arbitrary. It serves as the direct cause of parapsychological, paranormal phenomena. However, the concentration of thought is preceded by many secondary causes, which are equally necessary. Not everyone has the ability to concentrate their thoughts. But it can be significantly developed. Only if a person’s power of concentration of thought far exceeds that of the most gifted people can one expect that a parapsychological, paranormal phenomenon can be caused. As a result of the concentration of thought, a certain phenomenon arises, which, for lack of a better term, is called energy waves. By the way, the Tibetans themselves do not use this term. And it should be looked at as a means of achieving some understanding of the process, although the term itself is not very good. From our point of view, it would be much more successful and correct to talk about the flow of information from the person who concentrated his thought. The Tibetans operate with a concept that can be identified with power currents. But their most common concept is energy. They teach that energy is created by any physical action. It is born in the same way during the work of consciousness, during the work of the spirit, word or body. Therefore, they place energy at the basis of all mental phenomena.

Tibetan magic teachers have developed several ways to use the energy that is generated by concentrating thoughts. So, they believe that any object can be charged with this energy. Then the energy contained in this object can be used in a different capacity. For example, if a person comes into contact with such an energized object, his vital energy may increase as a result. With such contact, a person can be imparted fearlessness, etc. And this is not just a theory. Tibetan lamas apply these rules in practice. They charge amulets, pills, holy water and more with energy in order to protect their future owners from misfortunes and diseases. Nowadays, Chumak is trying to do the same. We don’t know what Chumak’s technology is, but Tibetan lamas, before engaging in this work, must first of all cleanse themselves, follow a special diet and indulge in meditation in a secluded place. The lama then concentrates his thoughts on a specific object with the intention of imparting beneficial power to it. Such preparation takes weeks and months. The very culmination of consecration and tying of magic ropes or scarves can take only a few minutes.

But the energy transferred to an object can be much greater. It can impart some semblance of life to an object. At the same time, he will gain the ability to move and perform actions that are prescribed to him by the person who breathed life into him. It will not surprise Tibetans that a lama can send “tormas” through the air to the person for whom they are intended.

You can use this tool to harm others. The following case is given. After months of training and concentration of thought, the magician is able to communicate his will to the murder weapon - the knife. The knife is given the task of killing a certain person. This knife is thrown to the intended victim. Then it's just a matter of time. If necessary, the victim will take the knife in his hands, and this one will then act on its own, or rather, according to the program embedded in it. Spiritualized weapons can be dangerous not only for the victim, but also for the magician himself. But this is only if the magician does not have sufficient strength, sufficient knowledge and abilities. The magician concentrates all his attention on the task that this weapon must perform. For this purpose, there are certain rituals that are performed in a certain sequence for a long time. It must be especially emphasized that the Tibetans do not at all involve any demons to explain this phenomenon. They call everything by their proper names. They are not surprised that with the effort of thought you can create the semblance of a person who can talk to you and follow any of your instructions. Why should they be surprised that the knife turns out to be obedient to the will of the magician? By the way, just as a knife can become dangerous for its owner, a magician, so a created ghostly creature can disobey him. But this is only if the magician has not shown enough professionalism and strength in his work.

The described example with a knife has one more side. The magician cannot suggest to the knife what it should do without mentally pointing it to the victim who must suffer. In this case, the question arises - what works better here - the influence on the knife (by concentrating thoughts) or the influence on the victim herself (in the same way). It is impossible to exclude the effect on the human victim in this way. It remains only to find out what is more effective - the action on the knife or directly on the victim. It is clear that both work and the ratio is different in each specific case. This depends not only on the work of the magician, but also on the characteristics of the victim, on her suggestibility, her telepathic abilities. Tibetans believe that those magicians who have mastered the depths of the occult sciences do not need to resort to the medium of inanimate objects. Through suggestion (telepathy), she can even command people, animals, demons, spirits, etc. from a distance, to commit suicide or any other action. For us, it was important to emphasize (and consider this case) that influencing an inanimate object is possible and real. But only highly professional magicians can do this.

It should be added that there is also opposition to this action. The victim person, who is at all times fully armed against the specified actions directed against him, can reflect the flow of information directed at him.

But this is only possible with appropriate preparation and systematic training.

There is another option, when energy (information) is transmitted by concentration of thought to any distance without the use of any material body. This force manifests itself in various ways, but exactly where it was directed. Firstly, this force (information) can cause mental phenomena. For example, this energy can penetrate a given object and it becomes the owner of extraordinary power. Actually, this is how the teacher transfers his abilities to the student. He conveys to him not doctrine, not secret knowledge, not top-secret methods and techniques. He conveys to him, first of all, strength and spiritual abilities. If the student has received this, then he becomes initiated. By the way, in Tibetan, initiation means transfer of power. The transfer of spiritual power over a distance gives the teacher a real opportunity to support and revitalize the spiritual and physical strength of a student who is far from him. They not only exchange information telepathically, but can visit each other in the form of a “tulka”, talk with each other in reality, although in fact they are physically distant from each other by many hundreds of kilometers.

By concentrating your thoughts you can practice vampirism from a distance. Energy (information) is directed to a certain object, which returns back, enriched with the energy of this object. Tibetan lamas are able, by concentrating their thoughts, to project images that have arisen in their minds and create all kinds of illusions (people, deities, animals). Such illusions can also be various objects, landscapes, etc. The word "illusion" is not entirely appropriate here, since created phenomena are not always intangible. They are often indistinguishable from real people, objects, landscapes, etc. You can study them, you can talk to them, without noticing that they were simply created by the power of thought. We have already said that thought forms are material. This position is fundamental in all parapsychology. But the word “material” should not be taken narrowly. The material body does not have to have weight or be visible. After all, radio waves are material, but they are invisible and have no weight. Eyewitnesses who have visited Tibet describe the paranormal phenomenon as follows: “An illusion horse runs at a trot and neighs; an illusory rider riding on it can jump off it, speak to a passerby, eat food prepared from ordinary products; ghostly roses spread tenderness far around them. aroma; an illusion house gives shelter to travelers of flesh and blood, etc." The eyewitness further writes: “Everything that has been said seems to be just a fairy tale, and ninety-nine percent of Tibetan stories about such incidents deserve this treatment. But despite this, sometimes you have to witness embarrassing facts. Some strange phenomena take place in reality, and their reality cannot be denied. In order to illustrate the Tibetans’ attitude towards paranormal phenomena, we will give two examples of such phenomena, verbatim from the words of an eyewitness:

One merchant and a caravan were caught on the way by a strong wind. The whirlwind tore the merchant's hat off and threw it into the bushes near the road. There is a belief in Tibet that anyone who picks up a headdress lost in this way while traveling will bring misfortune. Following a superstitious custom, the merchant preferred to consider the hat irretrievably lost.

The hat was made of soft felt with fur earmuffs. Flattened and half hidden in the bushes, it completely lost its shape. A few weeks later, at dusk, one person walked past the scene of the incident and noticed the outline of an unclear figure hiding in the bushes. The passerby was not one of the brave dozen and took off running. The next day, in the first village where he stopped to rest, he told the villagers that he had seen something very strange hidden in the bushes not far from the road. After some time, other travelers discovered a strange object in the same place. They could not understand what it was and discussed an adventure in the same village. Many more noticed an innocent headdress in the same way and told local residents about it. Meanwhile, the sun, rain and dust did their job. The felt changed color, and the headphones that stood on end vaguely resembled the bristly ears of some animal. This made the sight of the tattered hat even more terrible. Now all travelers and pilgrims passing by the village were warned that at the edge of the road something unknown was constantly lying in ambush - neither man nor beast - and it was necessary to beware of it. Someone suggested that it was some kind of demon, and very soon the hitherto nameless object was elevated to devilish dignity. The more people saw the old hat, the more stories there were about it. Now the whole area was talking about a demon lurking at the edge of the forest. Then one day the travelers saw the rag move. Another time, it seemed to passers-by that she was trying to get rid of the thorns that had entangled her, and, in the end, the hat fell from the bush and rushed after the passers-by, who were running away from her as fast as they could, not remembering themselves from horror.

The hat was revived by the influence of numerous thoughts concentrated on it. This incident is said to be true and is cited as an example of the power of concentration of thought, even unconscious and not pursuing any specific goal."

We will add from ourselves that the concentration of thought and information on a particular issue plays a very important role in life. You concentrate your thought, your attention on any minor sore and, continuing to do this daily and every night, bring this minor sore to cancer . You are afraid of something or someone and constantly fuel this fear in yourself. And fear does its job - the worst eventually happens. This means that it makes sense to put everything in its place, to turn the picture that was hanging on the wall upside down. This means you need to believe in the best, not be afraid of illnesses, not be afraid of real and mythical enemies, instill in everyone who is around you this belief in the best, that everything will be fine for them, that everything will be fine for everyone, that the country will be fine. Unfortunately, the “cliques” broadcasting on radio and television do not understand this. Not only do they lack the correct vision of the world and self-esteem. They shower all citizens with such a stream of negative information that they are unlikely to realize the harm they are causing to the entire society, the entire country. Remember the action of thoughts and remember the words from the Gospel that the one who sinned in thoughts is the one who sinned in reality. The way it is.

An eyewitness describes the second incident as follows:

“The old mother of a merchant, who traveled to India every year on business, once asked her son to bring her some relic from the holy land. Tibetans consider the cradle of Buddhism - India - a holy land. The merchant promised to fulfill this order, but in his worries he forgot about her promise. The old Tibetan woman was very upset and the next year, when her son’s caravan set off for India again, she again asked to bring her the relic. The son promised and forgot again. The same thing happened a third time. But now the merchant, already approaching the house, remembered his mother's request and, at the thought of the grief of the pious old woman, he himself was sincerely saddened. While he was thinking about how to improve the matter, a fragment of a dog's jaw lying on the side of the road caught his eye. The merchant found a way out of the situation. He pulled out one tooth from the dried jaw, cleaned the dust from it and wrapped it in a piece of silk cloth. Arriving home, he presented this tooth to his mother as an extremely precious relic - the tooth of the great disciple of Buddha Sariputra. In seventh heaven, filled with awe, the old woman hid the tooth in a reliquary on the altar. Every day she performed a sacred ceremony in front of him, lit lamps and fumigated him with incense. Other believers joined the old woman, and after a while the dog’s tooth, elevated to the dignity of holy relics, suddenly began to emit a radiance. This legend gave rise to the following saying: “Worship makes even a dog’s tooth radiate.”

We think that comments are unnecessary here. The reader understands that it is the concentration of thought that creates the power of influence. That is why they talk about prayed icons, which undoubtedly have an impact on those praying.

In the West, they practice contact with spirits, calling on the spirits of historical figures or friends and relatives. Those creatures that are created by magicians in Tibet have nothing in common with such spirits. We have already said that magicians carry out materialization, create “tulpas” (magical creatures, illusory ghosts). Actually, the technology in the West and in Tibet is different. In Tibet, magicians do not try to evoke a spirit and do not invite witnesses to this action. For materialization, Tibetan magicians do not need either a table on which participants in a spiritualistic seance join hands, or a black cabinet for a medium in a state of trance. There is no need for darkness either. Tibetan magicians can conduct their experiments on materialization both in sunlight and in the presence of random passers-by. It all depends on the abilities of the ghost creator, on how effectively he is able to concentrate his thoughts. It must be borne in mind that the results of the materialization process can get out of control. This means that some of the materialized features are created arbitrarily. This happens if the creator of the trait is endowed with sufficient spiritual power, either instantly or gradually. The process itself, including all its phases, is very long.

Cases are described when a creature materializes involuntarily and it resembles the creator. It is curious that the creator himself may not see him, while other witnesses see him and communicate with him. It turns out something like a double. But in fact, several such doubles can appear simultaneously. Therefore, it is incorrect to talk about a double here. But in most cases the creature is not like the creator. But the creator creates what he sees fit. And he succeeds.

Let us cite verbatim three cases that were described by eyewitnesses and witnessed simultaneously by several of them.

“One young man who served with me went to visit his parents. I let him go for three weeks. After this period, he had to buy supplies for us and hire porters to deliver goods through the passes. The young man stayed with his relatives, and nothing was heard from him about two months. I began to be afraid that he would not return. One night I saw him in a dream. I dreamed of him in an unusual suit for him and with a European hat on his head. I had never seen such a hat on him before. The next In the morning one of the servants came running after me shouting: “Wangdu is coming! I recognized him immediately!" This coincidence seemed curious to me. I came out of the tent to look at Wangdu. We stood on a hill above the plain, and I very clearly saw Wangdu down on the road. He was dressed exactly like in my dream and was climbing alone along the path , zigzagging along the mountainside. I remarked out loud that Wangdu did not have any luggage, and the servant standing next to him replied: “He must have overtaken the porters.” Besides us, two more of our people saw Wangdu. We continued to watch the approaching young men. He had already reached a small “shorten” standing by the path. The height of this shorten on a foundation in the shape of a cube with sides of about eighty centimeters, together with its upper part and spire did not exceed two meters. It was solid masonry, half made of stone, half made of clay, and there was not a single depression in it. The young man went behind the shorten and did not appear again.

In this place, except for the lonely shorten, there were no trees, no houses, no hills. At first, we - the servant and I - assumed that Wangdu sat down to rest in the shadow of a small monument, but we found nothing. On my orders, two of our people went to look for Wangdu. I watched them through binoculars. They didn't find anyone either.

That same day, at five o'clock in the afternoon, Wangdu appeared in the valley at the head of a small caravan. He was wearing a hat and dress that were familiar to me. I’ve already seen them on him - first in a dream, then in a morning mirage. Without telling the arrivals anything, without allowing them to come to their senses and chat with the servants, I began to question the porters and Uangdu himself. From their answers it was clear that they had all spent the night together too far from our Camp for any of them to reach it early in the morning. In addition, Wangdu did not leave the caravan a single step the entire time. For several weeks immediately after the incident, I had the opportunity to check the accuracy of these testimony with the peasants of the villages where Uangdu and his porters stopped on the way, I was convinced that the people told the truth, and Uangdu never left the caravan."

The second case is described as follows:

“One afternoon I was visited by a Tibetan artist who enthusiastically painted the terrible Tibetan gods and zealously worshiped them. Behind the artist, I saw a slightly hazy silhouette of one of his fantastic characters, who so often appear on his canvases.

I was so amazed that I involuntarily made a sudden movement, and the artist walked towards me, no doubt with the intention of asking what had happened to me. I noted that the ghost did not follow him. Quickly pushing my guest aside, she extended her hand and took a few steps towards the ghost. I felt the touch of something loose, yielding to pressure. The ghost dissipated.

In response to my questions, the artist admitted that he had been summoning the creature I had seen for several weeks, and that day he had been working a lot on the painting depicting it. In a word, all his thoughts were focused on the deity that he dreamed of portraying. The artist himself did not see the ghost."

An example of a voluntarily caused phenomenon is described as follows:

“At that time, my camp was set up near Punarited in Kham. One afternoon I was talking with the cook in the hut that served as our kitchen. The young man asked for provisions. I said: “Come to my tent, you will take everything from the box there, what do you need." We went out. Approaching the tent, the flaps of which were thrown back, we both suddenly saw the main lama sitting at my table on a folding chair. We were not surprised - this lama visited me quite often. The cook immediately said: "Rimpotshe has come to you." I need to go back to prepare tea for him, I’ll take the provisions later.” “Okay, prepare the tea as soon as possible,” I answered. The servant left, and I hurried to the tent. A few steps before it, it seemed to me as if there was a swirl in front of the tent and slowly a veil of transparent fog recedes from it. The Lama disappeared. Very soon the servant returned with tea. Not finding the Lama, he was very surprised. Not wanting to frighten him, I explained that the Lama only needed to say two words to me. He was busy and could not stay longer. I did not hesitate to tell the lama himself about this incident, but he only chuckled maliciously and did not want to explain anything to me."

What are the motives for creating a ghost? One of the purposes of this is to secure for oneself a powerful patron. The patronage is very unique - the ghost appears instead of the owner in different places, wherever the owner wants. This is said to be a frequent practice in Tibet. It is widespread among lamas to incarnate in the form of a guardian god in the morning. This is not difficult for them; they can turn into anyone. This is done in order to remove from himself any creatures hostile to him. After all, they then perceive him not as a person, but as a deity. They are able to suddenly incarnate into the image of any of the numerous Tibetan deities.

Ghosts (“Tulpas”) are also created for another pragmatic purpose. This is a servant, an obedient instrument for fulfilling all desires. A ghost can be created by anyone in appearance, gender, age, inclinations, beauty and strength. But there is one important “but” here. The fact is that the ghost will try to free itself from the will and guardianship of its owner. Therefore, this activity is not safe. Over time, the ghost changes, changes its qualities and becomes insidious and evil. If the magician is not able to destroy it with the power of his thoughts, then the ghost remains to exist independently of him, creating evil around himself.

The female eyewitness we quoted above shares her experience of creating a ghost - a “Tulpa”:

“I also decided to try to carry out the experience of materialization. In order not to fall under the influence of the impressive images of Lamaist deities, which were always before my eyes, since I usually surrounded myself with their picturesque and sculptural images, I chose for materialization an insignificant person - a squat, portly lama, ingenuous and cheerful disposition. After a few months, the good guy was created. Little by little, he “fixed himself” and turned into something like an uninvited guest. He did not at all wait for my mental invitation and appeared when I was not at all interested in him. Basically, the illusion was visual, but somehow I felt the sleeve of my dress brush me in passing and felt the weight of his hand on my shoulder. At that time I did not live in seclusion, rode horseback every day and, as usual, enjoyed excellent health. Gradually I began to notice in my lama some kind of then a change. The facial features with which I endowed him changed. His thick-cheeked face became thinner and took on a cunning and evil expression. He became more and more annoying. In a word, the lama was slipping away from my power. One fine day, the shepherd who was bringing us oil saw my ghost and mistook him for a real lama in the flesh. Perhaps I should have left this phenomenon to its natural development, but my unusual companion was beginning to get on my nerves. His presence turned into a real nightmare for me. I was already beginning to lose control over him and decided to dispel the illusion. I succeeded only after six months of desperate efforts. My lama’s life at that time was not very cheerful.”

For us, everything described above is extremely unusual. Nevertheless, this does not cause any surprise among the Tibetans. They simply perceive, or rather explain, what they see differently. Some believe that there is pure suggestion and there is no ghost as such. The magician inspires everyone with the idea of the existence of a ghost, which is why they see him. This is the result of only the mental concentration of the magician. Others believe that materialization actually occurs. In any case, no one doubts that lamas and magicians can do almost everything. This applies to mystics who have reached high degrees of spiritual perfection. These people do not have to die at all, as the Tibetans believe. They can dissolve and transform without a trace. Some of their national legends are believed to have done just that. How realistic this is can be judged from the following description left to us by the same author:

“One of Trashi Lama’s spiritual mentors was called Kiongbu rimpotshe. During my stay in Zhigatse, he was already very old and led the life of a hermit on the banks of the Yesru, a few kilometers from the city. Trashilama’s mother deeply revered him when I visited her, I I heard many extraordinary stories from his biography. They said that over the years the height of the learned ascetic decreased. In the eyes of the Tibetans, this is a sign of high spiritual perfection. There are many legends about tall mystic magicians who gradually reached tiny sizes and, in the end, completely disappearing. When they began to discuss the upcoming consecration of the new statue of Maintreya, Thrashi Lama expressed a desire to have this ceremony performed by Kiongbu rimpotshe. However, the saint declared that he would die before the completion of the temple where the statue was located. Thrashi Lama asked the hermit to postpone his death and consecrate temple and statue.

Such a request may seem absurd to a European, but it is in full accordance with Tibetan beliefs in the power of great mystics who have the power to choose the time of their death.

The teacher condescended to Trashi Lama's request and promised to perform the ceremony of consecrating the temple. About a year after my departure from Zhigatse, the construction of the temple and statue was completed, and a day was set for the solemn consecration ceremony.

When this day came, Trashi Lama sent a luxurious stretcher and an honorary escort for Kiongbu Rimpotshe to take the elder to Trashilkhumpo. The riders saw the hermit get into the stretcher, slammed the door behind him, and the procession set off.

Meanwhile, thousands of people gathered in Trashilkhumpo for the celebration. Great was everyone's amazement when Kiongbu Rimpotshe appeared without an entourage and on foot. He silently entered the temple, approached the statue closely and gradually merged with it. A little later, a stretcher arrived, surrounded by an honorary retinue. They opened the door... there was no one on the stretcher. Many claim that Lama Kiongbu was never seen again."

How can you understand what happened? First option. The mystic created an illusion double of himself, who entered the stretcher and then went to the temple. Upon contact with the statue, the ghost dissipated. The lama himself could calmly be at home at this time. Second option. The Lama did not create a ghost, but simply influenced everyone present at a distance. Therefore, they saw something that was not really there. A third option was also discussed, in which the lama was no longer alive at that time. He, as he said at the beginning, died in due time. But since he promised, he created a ghost tulpa in his place, who did everything described. Is this possible? Experts have no doubt that it is possible. They believe that through a special type of concentration of thought it is possible to create phenomena for the future. If the concentration of thought was successful, then the target chain of actions created by the will of the magician will further unfold mechanically, no longer requiring the assistance of the magician. In many cases, the magician is not able to destroy what he has created and prevent the phenomenon from occurring at the appointed time, since the energy he generated, which he directed to a specific goal, is already beyond his control.

Let us dwell very briefly on the technique of parapsychological experiments practiced by mystics and magicians in Tibet.

The first thing that every practitioner in the field of parapsychology must be able to do is control his body. One of the exercises among the Tibetans is “tumo”. This word itself means warmth, although in ordinary situations it is not used in this sense. But its true meaning is deeper. Anyone who owns a “tumo” will not freeze at an altitude of 4000 to 5000 meters even in a light dress. He will stay healthy by living there in a cave on a snowy peak all winter. But the tumo exercise does more than just provide heat to the body. According to the specialist, “the body is filled with productive energy, generating the ability of spiritual creation. But this energy is elusive and invisible and has nothing to do with gross matter.”

Anyone who wants to master the art of "tumo" must give up clothing and never approach the fire. It is believed that exercise should not be done indoors or even in a village. The air must be clean from smoke and odors, as well as from various occult influences.

The exercise is done in a single cover made of paper. Beginners are allowed to sit on a piece of mat or on a board. Experienced students sit on bare ground. At the highest stage of training, they sit directly on the snow, on the ice of a frozen stream, etc. The exercise is done on an empty stomach.

The exercise is done in one of two postures: the usual cross-legged meditation posture or the Western-style sitting posture. In the latter case, the hands are placed on the knees, the ring and middle fingers are tucked under the palm, and the index, little and thumb fingers are extended. First, several breathing exercises are done. The student achieves free passage of air through the nostrils. You need to concentrate mentally and imagine that pride, anger, hatred, greed, lies and stupidity are spewing out of you. When inhaling, the blessings of the saints, the spirit of Buddha, the five wisdoms and everything that exists in the world of the noble and sublime are attracted and assimilated.

It takes some time to concentrate. Mentally detach yourself from any thoughts and worries. After this, one must plunge into deep contemplation and peace. You need to imagine a golden lotus in your body at the place of your navel. One must imagine that in the center of the lotus stands the syllable (part of the word) “ram” shining like the sun. Above it is the syllable "ma" And from this last syllable the goddess Dorji Naljorma appears.

These syllables are called "seed". They should not be viewed as symbolically expressing various concepts, but as living beings that are capable of moving and standing at their full height. The syllable "ram" means fire. But we must imagine not just fire, but the embryo, the source, the seed of fire. Hindus pay great attention to the articulation of these germ words. They are convinced that the sounds they pronounce contain their creative power. In Tibet, these syllables are used as schematic forms of elements, deities, etc. The idea of these syllables is so strong that an experienced strong magician, imagining the syllable “ram” as a living image, is able to light anything. He can create a flame in this way even where there is no fuel.

When performing the exercise, after the goddess has appeared from the syllable “ma”, the student must imagine that she is him, that is, he must identify with her. After this, the student contemplates the letter “a” at the site of the goddess’s navel and the letter “ha” at the top of her head. He takes slow, deep breaths and imagines that they act like bellows fanning a smoldering fire under the heat. You have to imagine that the flame is in “a” and has the shape of a small lump. Each inhalation should cause a sensation of a stream of air that penetrates to the navel and fans the fire. After each deep breath, you should hold your breath. The duration of the delay should gradually increase. But the thought must continuously and intently watch the birth of the flame, which rises through the vein of the “mind”, which runs vertically in the center of the body.

There is also a more prosaic version of this exercise in the literature.

To perform the exercise, you need to squat down, cross your legs and pass them under your hips. You need to join your hands and make the following movements:

1. Rotate the stomach three times from right to left and three times from left to right.

2. Make churning movements with your stomach with as much energy as possible.

3. Rock, shake, imitating the movements of a restive horse. It is recommended to jump slightly without changing your cross-legged position.

It is recommended to repeat these three exercises three times and finish with a big jump. We must try to jump as high as possible. This exercise is somewhat similar to Hindu Hatha yoga. But the last exercise is continued until the stomach takes the “pot shape”. At the same time, breathing is held. Then one should merge oneself with the image of the goddess Dorji Naljorma, as has already been described. You need to imagine that you are holding the sun in each palm. The sun is located under the soles of your feet and under your navel. When the suns rub against each other, fire breaks out in the arms and legs.

The fiery tongues reach the sun under the navel, and this sun flares up. At the same time, the whole body is filled with flame. A conviction arises, a feeling that with every exhalation the whole world is on fire. In this variation, the exercise ends with twenty-one big jumps.

Whether the student has mastered the exercise is determined very clearly. The exam is carried out on a water pool (river) that is covered with ice. They make a hole. The examinees, completely naked, sit on the ground with their legs crossed. A prerequisite is a strong, sharp wind. The hole is made so that sheets can be lowered into ice water. They should freeze there. And the person taking the exam must wrap himself in them, icy. Then dry them with your own body. This is how the effect of the exercise becomes obvious. But the test continues after this - the sheet is again wetted in the ice hole, and everything is repeated. All this lasts all night until dawn. It is not difficult to determine the winner in such collective exam-competitions by counting the number of sheets dried by each participant. How many are there? They write that some subjects manage to dry up to forty ice sheets per night. But in order to pass the exam, you need to dry at least three sheets. It must be borne in mind that the sheets used for this are equal in size to a large shawl.

Telepathy is very widespread in Tibetan practice. Students often communicate with their teacher telepathically. The principles, of course, are the same as those we have already described. Effectiveness is achieved by concentration of thought. You can develop telepathic abilities through training. But there are people who have this ability from birth, by nature. In any case, telepathy, like all paranormal abilities, is the result of spiritual improvement. As for the special training of telepathy among the Tibetans, it includes the following exercises.

First you need to do all the exercises that will allow you to enter a trance state. When concentrating thoughts on one object. The exercises are done until the subject (the one doing the exercise) completely merges with the object (the one he wants to telepathize with). It is imperative to perform additional exercises that allow you to “empty” your consciousness of any mental activity. We must strive to create in our consciousness a state of complete silence and perfect peace.

After this, you need to perform exercises to recognize and analyze diverse phenomena that cause sudden and inexplicable mental and physical sensations and special states of consciousness. This is joy, sadness, fear, unexpected memories of faces, objects, events, which at first glance have no connection with the train of thought or with the actions of the person who feels all this.

According to the Tibetan tradition, the student conducts the schematically described classes over several years. Only after such many years of training is the student allowed to meditate with the teacher. Such joint meditation proceeds as follows. The teacher and student lock themselves in a quiet, poorly lit room. They both concentrate their thoughts on the same subject. At the end of the exercise, it is analyzed (analysis). The student tells the teacher about all the phases of his meditation. He expresses various ideas that arose during his meditation. He discusses his subjective ideas with the teacher. All this information is compared with the moments of meditation of the teacher himself. As a result of the analysis, similarities and discrepancies are revealed. This was the first stage of learning telepathy.

At the second stage, the student does not know or suspect anything about the subject of the teacher’s meditation. But he prepares his consciousness to perceive the images that the teacher creates in his mind. The student tries to prevent any thoughts from arising in his mind. He is trying to create a complete vacuum there. If he has achieved this, then he then observes unexpectedly appearing thoughts, feelings, and ideas that seem alien to him due to his own interests and ideas. At the end of the exercise, analysis is again carried out. The teacher and student conduct a joint analysis of the student’s sensations and perceptions and the images telepathized by the teacher.

This is followed by the third stage of teaching telepathy, during which the teacher asks the student specific tasks. During the exercises of this stage, the student is at some distance from the teacher. This distance is currently chosen to be small. During the exercise, the student must concentrate and tune in to receive information from the teacher. If he understood the teacher correctly, he responds with signals or his own actions. Therefore, the result (positive or negative) is obvious here. As positive results are consolidated, the distance between teacher and student gradually increases. So, if at first they were within the same room, now they can disperse in different rooms. Depending on the student's abilities and success, he may even return to his own abode (hut or cave). After some time, he may gradually move several kilometers away from the teacher’s home.

The teacher's abilities and telepathic abilities are beyond doubt. He can read the thoughts of any people, including in any volume. Therefore, the teacher always knows when his student is ready to get in touch with him. Therefore, the problem of a preliminary schedule or preliminary agreement on the time of telepathic sessions does not exist. A telepathic session begins with the students, who are dispersed at some distance from the teacher, beginning to “call up” (telepathically) with each other. Typically, these exercises require the participation of several students in addition to the teacher. When the students telepathically agree on the time of the session, the teacher himself joins the session. Those who are already at a fairly high degree of perfection in the line of telepathy test their progress on their colleagues - other students. They send them telepathic messages at a time when they are not thinking about them, are not waiting for them. If you manage to accept them, then this indicates the success of both. Students try to instill in their colleagues not only certain thoughts, but also actions. Some of them try to force actions into animals. And they often succeed. But these successes do not come immediately. The exercises take years. This period depends on the natural abilities of the special paranormal abilities (features) of that particular student. Not everyone who wants to achieve great success or reach a high level.

It must be borne in mind that these are not telepathy courses in which one large group of students replaces another. With this kind of training, everything is very individual. There are few students confined to one teacher, no more than six, or even less. The disciples gather for a short time around the teacher in some secluded plain around the teacher's (hermit's) dwelling. Each listener (student) has his own primitive hut. Thus, the students’ huts are located in a circle with a radius of one or two kilometers from the center, where the teacher’s cave is located. But the main rule for achieving success in telepathy is this: a person must stop viewing himself and “others” as completely separate entities, devoid of common points. If this barrier is overcome, then telepathic communication is carried out simply. Telepathy is carried out by connecting to the information field of the Universe. From experiments with animals and plants (like Baxter’s experiments) it is clear that both animals and plants are reliably connected to the information field of the Universe. The problem is only with man, despite his advanced central nervous system and the largest brain. In order for a person to connect to the information field, he needs to go through a long and difficult path of spiritual improvement.

Here are a few more parapsychological exercises of Tibetan lamas.

Tibetans, like Hindus, attach exceptional importance to breathing. The mystics of Tibet say: “Breath is the horse, spirit is the rider.” The horse must be obedient to the rider. Whoever has mastered the breathing technique not only gains physical strength, but also conquers unwanted passions, anger, and carnal desires. This is how serenity, a tendency to reflect and the awakening of spiritual energy are achieved. Breathing exercises consist of the trainee taking certain postures while performing various methods of inhalation, retention and exhalation. They usually train naked. The qualifications acquired by the student and the degree of this qualification can be judged by the shape of the abdomen while holding the breath. Actually, they use the breathing exercises of Indian yogis.

Breathing affects both the body and the spirit. The Tibetans developed two methods. The first - the easiest - leads to pacification of the spirit through the breathing process. The second method is more severe. It allows you to regulate your breathing and thus achieve peace of mind.

Meditation and contemplation are often added to breathing exercises. For this purpose, magic circles are used, which are called “Kyilkhory” in Tibetan. This circle is a kind of diagram drawn on paper or cloth. The circle can be engraved on stone, metal or wood. Actually, such “circles” are also made with the help of small flags, lamps, incense sticks, vessels filled with various contents, and the like. Such a circle should depict the whole world in miniature. Everything in this picture is depicted allegorically. In this case, deities or lamas are depicted in the form of a small pyramid made of dough. It is called "torma". Magic circles can be created in another way. They can simply be drawn on boards or on the ground with dry powder paints. The magic circle can be three meters in diameter. Such giant wheels are surrounded by a fence made of wood or painted cardboard. This fence should represent fortress walls with gates. Small flags and altar lights are placed in certain places.

At first glance, this resembles a simple children's game. We played and quit. But in fact, the game here is very serious, it sometimes costs your life. No wonder this is not just a circle, but a magic circle. Here one of two things: either everything will be built exactly as it should be, or everything will turn into a big disaster against the creator. Thus, the creation of magic circles is a very difficult science (architecture?), the laws of which take years to master. The slightest mistake in drawing, paint, placement of characters or surrounding objects can turn into disaster against the creator of the circle. Therefore, you cannot start building a magic circle without the teacher’s permission. This permission takes the form of dedication. Dedication to creating magic circles must be of a fairly high level, degree. But it's not just a matter of knowledge. You can create a circle in full accordance with the rules, but it will remain just a dead thing and will not have any magical properties. This happens if the creator of the circle was not initiated and did not receive the necessary strength and energy to spiritualize his brainchild. Only some lamas who have been awarded the highest degrees of initiation know the symbolic meanings of the magic circle. Only they have the knowledge of how to use such a circle. Only such lamas can guide an initiated student in creating a magic circle.

The creation of a magic circle by a student is divided into two stages. In the first stage, he creates a material magic circle. At the second stage, he must breathe life, spirit into this circle. At the first stage, the student, under the guidance of the teacher, creates the basis, the support of the magic circle. The central figure, or the main character, is placed in the center of the circle. Then a world is created around him in which this person should inherently inhabit. This surrounding world also includes creatures that should essentially surround the central figure. They are depicted in various figures or simply symbols. At the same time, the student must learn to clearly recognize various images. First, the student collects information about the images he creates everywhere, including in books. Then, as this creativity completely captures him, the information he needs will come to him on its own, involuntarily, as he needs it. This is a necessary element of any real creativity.

After creating the material basis of the magic circle, you need to breathe spirit and life into it. We imagine that we installed an image of God and began to pray to him. Not at all. They installed an image of a god or a sculpture, and then they made sure to give this image or sculpture life. That is, life and vitality must be breathed into a lifeless, inanimate object with the help of spiritual ema. Such a god was able to influence the course of events. It was included in the chains of information and energy flows connecting all living and nonliving things in nature, including, of course, humans. In order for such a spiritualized idol to remain in this information chain, that is, so that it can influence the course of events and the destinies of people, one must regularly mentally turn to it. We must pray to him regularly and passionately. The more people pray to him, the greater the power of such an idol.

Here we come to a very important, fundamental question: how does the indicated idol, a man-made and spiritualized idol, the deity relate, relate to that one God. Who is the only Creator of everything. As for the idol, it is an information hub to which information flows and thanks to this it is possible to influence events through this information. The idol does not fulfill his own desires. It, as a link in the information chain, serves as a kind of mirror. If you stop praying to an idol, it loses its power, it ceases to be an idol. People worshiped idols for a reason; they felt a certain effect from it. Through the idol it was possible to direct flows of information in the desired direction. If many people prayed for the health of a person at an idol, then this information - energy was concentrated on him and reflected towards this person. This bore fruit. But the idol should not be confused with the Creator. And, of course, it is better to pray to the one God, to whom everyone (or the majority) prays, than to some local idol. By the way, if the idol does not have enough nutritional power, which is created by the concentration of thought directed at it, then it ceases to fulfill its functions as an amplifier and repeater. It turns from a spiritualized object into dead matter. It is not for nothing that Hindus consider it a great sin to stop or interrupt daily prayer services to already spiritualized idol gods. True, for certain ceremonies, some images of gods, idols, etc. are created. They are to function only for the duration of this ceremony. If this is so, then they do not care about praying to these temporary gods every day. This is the right time to think about the images of communist idols, to whom they praised every day and constantly expressed gratitude to them for a happy life. Their images have been very heavily prayed over for 70 years. But now these images are gradually losing their spirituality and turning into a piece of matter. You must be very careful with every thing with which you have been very closely associated for a long time. Try not to let it end up anywhere and with just anyone. You are connected to her by narrow informational ties.

Let's return to the magic circle. The student created its material basis and he has to do the main thing - breathe spirit, life into it. How does a student do this in practice? Let us give a description of one of the options for such spiritualization.

"They conjure up the image of the deity. At first they contemplate only this image. Then other forms arise from the body of the deity. Some of them are identical in image, others differ from each other and from the original image. There are often four of these creatures, but in some types of meditation they number in the hundreds, more often there are innumerable numbers of them. After these various deities surrounding the central figure have become very distinct, they must little by little dissolve into her again one by one. She again finds herself alone and then begins to reveal herself. The first to disappear legs and in the same way, slowly and gradually, the whole body dissipates. Finally, the head disappears, and only a point remains of the entire figure. It can be dark, colored or brightly glowing. Mystic teachers associate the degree of spiritual development of the student with this feature. In Eventually the point approaches the student immersed in meditation and enters him, and one must immediately notice which part of the body the point is absorbed. This exercise is followed by a period of meditation, and then the point leaves the body of the student, and the above observations must be repeated. Some teachers indicate to the student where the point should merge with his body and appear again. Usually this place is between the eyebrows. Others, on the contrary, advise not to try to direct the course of development of the illusion and limit yourself only to observing it. Or the mentor recommends one or another of these methods in accordance with the goal being pursued. The point released from the student’s body is removed, turns into a head, then the whole body appears; from the body other forms arise, again absorbed by the central figure. The phantasmagoria unfolds again in the same order, repeating itself as many times as the mystic deems useful."

This is just an example of one option. In another version, the central figure in the magic circle is the lotus. In the student’s imagination, instead of a deity, a lotus appears. Other characters appear one by one on the lotus petals. The central figure takes place on the corolla of the flower. The illusion further unfolds in this sequence. First, the flower (lotus) blooms. As more and more new leaves appear, new characters appear. Then, as in the first version, everything collapses, the flower gradually closes, and the number of characters is reduced to zero. Each lotus petal closes and emits a ray of light, which then disappears into the heart of the lotus. The last thing to fold is the corolla of the flower, on which is the central figure, the deity. When it curls up, light is also emitted from it. This light penetrates into the disciple (monk) who is immersed in meditation. As you can see, in this version the essence is the same as in the first, they differ only in form.

One option is that the meditator places the characters (deities) not on lotus leaves, but in various places of his own body. They sit on his shoulders, arms, head, etc.

Experts say that after reaching a certain level and gaining experience, the meditator observes such a range of different phenomena and characters that European computer games pale in comparison. An experienced magician can not only revive and spiritualize a deity, but also influence such natural phenomena as winds, storms, rain, snow, and hail. They do this not only successfully, but also effectively for their well-being - the peasants pay them a very significant dues for protecting their plots of land with crops from all sorts of misfortunes. This is quite widespread in Tibet. Those peasants who do not agree to such a “voluntary” quitrent are even severely punished. One of the books provided evidence of such punishment: a magician, whose services the peasants did not need and refused to work for him as a quitrent, drove the tonado into their fields and the entire harvest was destroyed. In the neighboring areas not a single grain fell from the spikelet. Such is the power of these meteorological magicians, as evidenced by European eyewitnesses. It must be emphasized that eyewitnesses testify that very few magicians achieve the qualifications necessary to control the elements.

We do not see our task as presenting the entire system of parapsychological study in Tibet. Let us note in passing that it is many orders of magnitude more perfect than the one that exists at the Munich Institute of Parapsychology. Our task is different - to emphasize the main idea, the main core of the entire book - that everything is carried out through the information field of the Universe, through the World Mind. It all comes down to how to learn to receive information from the information field and how to use and direct this information. This is evidenced by both Western experts and parapsychologists of the East, in particular Tibet. True, not everything is always stated and presented in the specified terms, but this does not change the very essence of the matter.

There are spiritual teachers in Tibet who belong to one of two groups. The first are monks who recognize that the means of a person’s spiritual self-improvement is their observance of moral rules and monastic regulations. The latter consist of very heterogeneous teachers, but they are all united by the name of supporters of the “straight path”. It is believed that this path is adventurous. Those who follow this path believe that they are acting like travelers who want to climb a mountain peak immediately in a straight line, and not gradually along a winding mountain road. They believe that they are climbing to the top of a mountain along a terrifying steepness, while crossing chasms like rock climbers with the help of thrown and secured ropes. This road is a path for the bravest, most experienced. On this path, as in mountaineering: one careless step can lead to a terrible spiritual fall. As a result, the traveler may find himself at the bottom of debauchery and vice, falling to the state of a being of a lower demonic nature.

Here is an approximate program of spiritual improvement for adherents of the “straight path”:

" 1. Read as many different religious and philosophical books as possible. Frequently listen to sermons and speeches of learned mentors professing various truths and theories. Try all sorts of methods on yourself.

2. From all the doctrines studied, choose one, discarding the rest, like an eagle selecting its prey from a whole flock.

3. Live modestly and do not try to get ahead, have a humble appearance, do not attract attention, do not strive to be equal to the greats of this world. But under the guise of insignificance, raise your spirit high and be immeasurably higher than the glory and honors of earth.

4. Be indifferent to everything; act like a dog or a pig, devouring everything that comes their way; do not choose the best of what is given to you; not to make the slightest effort to obtain or avoid, etc. Accept what befalls you - wealth or poverty, praise or contempt; stop distinguishing virtue from vice, valiant from shameful, good from evil. Never grieve, never repent, never indulge in regret, no matter what happens; on the other hand, not to rejoice at anything, not to have fun and not to be proud of anything.

5. Dispassionately and detachedly observe the struggle of opinions and the varied activities of living beings. Think like this: “This is the nature of things, the way of life of various individuals.” Contemplating the world is like a person looking from the highest peak at the mountains and valleys far below.

6. The sixth stage cannot be described; it is identical to the concept of emptiness. Here the concept of emptiness must be understood as the absence of ego.

Two types of exercise are popular. One of them is to carefully observe the continuous activity of consciousness. At the same time, one must not create any interference with this stream of consciousness. Another exercise is to delay the chaotic work of consciousness and fix it in order to concentrate your thought on one subject. As you can see, these exercises are opposite to each other in their setup.

For a beginning student, the teacher assigns either the first or second exercise. Sometimes they alternate. After training for a certain period of time in the first exercise, the same training is prescribed in the second. It is also possible to alternate between doing one exercise and then another. But this requires some experience. Most experienced students can alternate both exercises without interruption, even within the same day.

To be able to concentrate your thoughts on something specific is the first condition for anyone who wants to learn how to influence paranormal phenomena. This is necessary to be able to do with all types of meditation. Experts note that the exercise of observing the cycle of consciousness activity is very difficult and can only be performed by students with developed intelligence.

When performing exercises to concentrate thoughts, various devices are used. They can be circles of colored clay of various shades, a round surface covered with water, or fire, which is observed through a round hole made in the screen. They observe a certain of the specified objects until they begin to see it with closed eyes as clearly as with open ones. This develops the habit of concentrating consciousness. It has nothing to do with hypnosis. Each student chooses to concentrate consciousness and thoughts the subject that is more effective for him, with the help of which training is most effective. To what extent the concentration of thought and consciousness should be brought can be seen from such a case. Even if it is fictional, it is a very successful illustration of the very essence of the exercise of concentration of consciousness. Here he is:

“One young man asks a hermit to be his spiritual mentor. The teacher wants the student to acquire, first of all, the skills of concentrating consciousness. “What do you usually do?” he asks the student thirsty for insight. “I herd yaks,” he replies. “Okay,” says the teacher, “focus your thoughts on the yak.” The student settles down in a cave, somewhat adapted for habitation, of which there are many in the pasture areas, and begins training. After a while, the teacher goes to the student who is meditating and calls him, ordering him to come out to him. The student hears the call, gets up and wants to leave his refuge, but cannot. Meditation has achieved its intended goal - he has already identified himself with the object (yak) to which his thoughts were directed, and has merged with it to such an extent that he has lost the sense of his own personality Floundering in the exit of the cave, as if trying to overcome some obstacle, the student declares: “I can’t get out, the horns are in the way.” The student felt like a yak.”

It is recommended to choose a landscape, for example, a garden, as an object for concentration of consciousness. It must be contemplated, observed in all details. At the same time, you need to remember the various flowers growing in it, their location, trees, the inherent height of each of them, the shape of the branches, the difference in foliage, and so consistently study all the details, walking around the entire garden and remembering all the features that can be noted.

When you have a certain idea of the garden, when it stands in all its details before your closed eyes, begin the main part of the exercise. Mentally remove one detail from the entire landscape, from the entire picture, then the second, then the third. Gradually the flowers lose their color and shape. Then they simply crumble and even the dust remaining from them dissipates. Trees lose their foliage, and their branches shrink, disappear, but as if they were part of the trunk. The trunk itself straightens, thinning more and more until it turns into a thin line. The line becomes thinner and thinner, and then disappears completely. So out of the entire luxurious garden, only one bare soil remains. But your work continues. You must gradually remove everything - the stones, the earth and everything that was there. So, in the end, everything disappears.

This exercise (and similar ones) leads us to develop the process of destroying ideas about the world of forms and matter, as a result of which pure and infinite space is achieved. This is how the concept and understanding of the infinity of consciousness and the comprehension of the sphere of “emptiness”, as well as the sphere where there is no longer either consciousness or its absence, is developed and consolidated. These four types of meditation in Buddhism are considered classical. That's why we present them. They are also called “formless meditation.”

How to achieve the peculiar state of consciousness described above? The paths are very different - and everything is very individual. Sometimes all this is achieved without any preparation at all; a person falls into such a state spontaneously, suddenly, regardless of what he was doing and where he was. But there are very few such people, just a few of them. Basically, on the path to achieving such a unique state of consciousness, both the student and the teacher will have to work a lot, using various well-developed methods. In particular, such a state of consciousness can be the result of contemplation when rational activity is turned off. It can also be achieved through a series of painstaking self-observations or even research and reflection on the phenomena of the external world.

The second exercise consists of observation, contemplation of a specific object. You must concentrate on this object and see nothing else. You should not think or remember anything other than this subject. He alone must take possession of you completely. After some time, you will gradually begin to lose your sense of your own identity. You begin to identify yourself with the object you are contemplating. Try to achieve such unity with this subject, as happened with the student who became a yak. This is the ideal. But here the real work of your consciousness is just beginning. Having become a chair or table, you will begin to experience special sensations that are associated with the characteristics of its shape, weight, size, etc. Having felt this, you must begin to contemplate yourself (this object) from the inside. Now you are no longer you, but an object of the outside world. If you have become a tree, you will clearly feel that your body is a hard, inflexible tree trunk with branches. You should clearly feel the vibration of the branches, their movement, the hidden vitality, the circulation of tree sap, etc. But you don't have to stop there. You must see with your consciousness, contemplate the human being who is sitting in front of the tree, that is, yourself as you were before you became a tree. So you are both a tree and a person. A person examines a tree, studies it in every detail. Next, you move your consciousness completely into the sitting person and from this position you examine the tree. This training makes it possible to make sure that the consciousness-spirit does not reside either in the heart or in the head, and in this way the spirit can be released from the body.

The reader is unlikely to engage in the exercises described. But these exercises, like others like them, allow a person to understand that our ideas about everything in the world can be changed, that we can completely abandon all generally accepted routine ideas. This is how we can help ourselves overcome the dogmas that weigh on us. Of course, all this is philosophy, worldview. That is why we present these facts. The philosophical aspect can be understood from such an instructive example. They ask the student: “What flutters in the wind: the wind or the flag?” Some answer that the flag is moving, others - that the wind. And the teacher explains that in fact the movement has nothing to do with the wind or the flag. And there is something in motion that is both inside the air and inside the flag!

In 1982, an article “The Ageless Paradox of Psychophysical Phenomena” was published in a serious American magazine, which attempted a scientific and practical analysis of telepathy, telekinesis, clairvoyance and other mysterious psychic phenomena associated with non-traditional human mental actions in the field of parapsychology... In The article summarized the results of studies of remote interactions and human impacts without muscular effort on people and other objects of living (bio-objects) and inanimate (inert) nature. Despite the significant volume of experiments conducted and mathematical (statistical) processing of their results, it was not possible to formulate a consistent hypothesis that explains these paradoxes.

ABOUT TERMINOLOGY AND CLASSIFICATION OF MENTAL PHENOMENA.

Due to the fact that the nature of these phenomena is not clear, and specialists and enthusiasts from various fields of science, technology and practice are studying and attempting to practically use psi phenomena, difficulties with the conceptual apparatus quite often arise. In particular, synonyms for “psychophysical phenomena” can be: psi-phenomena, bioenergetic influence, y-phenomenon, psi-phenomenon, eniophenomenon, paranormal phenomenon, extrasensory interaction, weak energy-information interaction and others. And the areas that study these phenomena include: parapsychology, psychotronics, psychoenergetics, paradoxonics, psychophysics, eniology, bioenergy informatics, extrasensory perception, metapsychology, physics of consciousness and others. At the same time, a subject with paranormal abilities is called: anomaly, psychic, sensitive, superperceptive, psi-energist, psychic, parapsychologist, biosense, clairvoyant, telepath, medium, and also: pranotherapist and biocorrector - in medical extrasensory perception; dowser, dowsing operator, dowser, dowser, dowser - in dowsing. It is also believed that the following people have paranormal abilities: a sorcerer, a magician, a shaman, a sorcerer, a witch, an udaganka, a healer and others.

Here it is proposed to use the term “parapsychology” as a scientific direction that aims to study forms of perception and transmission of information that occur without the participation of the sense organs of biological objects, as well as non-traditional forms of influence of a person (and perhaps another living creature) on physical phenomena without the mediation of muscular effort, but only desire, thought, willpower. Below is one of the classifications of psi phenomena that has developed to date in parapsychology and supplemented with terms from recent works published in such journals as “PARAPSYCHOLOGY and PSYCHOPHYSICS”, “Consciousness and Physical Reality”, “Biomedical Radio Electronics”. Due to the fact that the physical nature of psi phenomena is not clear, and it is possible that it is not the same for all phenomena studied in parapsychology, the classification is based on the results of the manifestation of the phenomenon. Along with the main concepts, their synonyms and (or) brief explanations are given in brackets.

3.7. Increasing the protective properties of the surface of the human body (hardening the skin, walking on sharp objects, walking on fire).
3.8. Evil eye, damage, slander, vampirism, etc.

Note that not all of the above phenomena can be attributed to really existing psi-phenomena, and not to falsifications, deception, tricks, or speculation. For example, psychic surgery practiced by healers (Filipino healers) does not actually involve surgery, but is only an imitation of it. The healing effect obtained in a number of cases is explained by the psychological (hypnotic) effect on the patient. At the same time, extensive material given in various sources, as well as some experience of the authors, testify to the reality of many psi phenomena, which forces us to look for ways to explain their nature. Defining properties of paranormal phenomena.

If we assume that all the phenomena listed above can be explained by one theory, that they are based on the same mechanism (although this is not obvious), then to explain the phenomena we can first try to first identify properties that are common to psi phenomena. These properties include the following:

1. Long-range action. The overwhelming majority of sources note a weak dependence of the intensity of the effect on distance, which is not typical for currently known field interactions. In particular, they talk about long ranges of reception and transmission of extrasensory information without weakening the effect on almost the entire earth's surface (if, of course, this effect is observed). In this regard, the property of subthreshold reception is noted. If we approach the analogy of reception and transmission using electromagnetic waves, then the received signal turns out to be lower than the sensitivity of the receiver. And if we consider the internal energy of an anomaly (psychic), then it turns out to be clearly insufficient either for the transmission of information or for thermal effects.

2. Selectivity or targeting. The purposeful nature of the interaction directly between the operator - the anomaly and the target object - is noted. It is noted that an effective impact on the target is achieved provided that the operator initially comes into contact with the target, which can then be installed at a considerable distance. For example, if you plan to conduct an experiment on remotely changing the properties of water, then in order to increase the effectiveness of the psi phenomenon, the operator must initially hold a test tube with this water in his hands without any mental influence. Then this test tube is taken to the required distance, and the operator acts on the water.

3. Recession effect. This phenomenon is often observed in parapsychological experiments. It consists in the fact that the highest efficiency of the phenomenon is achieved at the beginning of the experiment, and then the indicators decrease or the psi-phenomenon is not recorded at all as the experiment continues. Sometimes there is a small spike in performance before the end of the experiment.

4. First exposure effect. It is similar to the decay effect and consists of a bright, distinct reaction of the target at the first effective (clearly recorded) impact of the operator. For example, when exposed remotely to a temperature sensor shielded from the external environment, when it responds to the operator’s order to increase the temperature, it actively reacts and does not return to its original state for a long time after the end of the impact. There is a weak reaction to the operator’s repeated order.

5. Aftereffect. As a rule, it is observed during the effect of the first (successful) impact. For example, magnetic relaxation after exposure to an anomaly on a magnetic needle can last about an hour - the needle does not calm down. In some experiments, the aftereffect reached several days.

6. Low reproducibility. Many psi phenomena cannot be re-recorded under seemingly the same experimental conditions. That is, from the standpoint of classical (academic) science, psi phenomena do not meet the criteria of reproducibility. They are mainly confirmed by statistical methods, but can be very weak. Here a lot depends on the abilities of the anomaly, his “strength”.

7. Information fuzziness. It manifests itself in the incompleteness of the information about the target reproduced by the sensitive. For example, when conducting experiments on clairvoyance, an anomaly cannot give a clear description of the target - the object of study, and finds it difficult to draw a drawing or plan of it. Rather, he expresses his feelings about the target. To reduce information fuzziness, several psychics are used simultaneously. By combining their readings (sensations), as a rule, it is possible to concretize the idea of the target.

8. Temporal shift in perception (reception of information). It manifests itself in information fuzziness due to advance or lag in the reproduction of information about the target. For example, the operator may describe a target that is still being planned for an experiment or that is subsequently assigned as a random selection.

9. Biological similarity of the effect. The overwhelming majority of paranormal phenomena are associated with the influence of a person, usually in a so-called altered state of consciousness, on biological objects. Impacts on inert matter are less common. Even less often is it said about equipment that provides paranormal influence. It seems that devices that provide psi phenomena (including so-called special radiation generators) cannot operate without anomaly operators, who may also be the developers of these devices. We have to admit that the listed hypotheses and similar ones (and there are about fifty of them) do not collectively explain all the phenomena of parapsychology. In some cases, it is possible to explain only individual fragments of the psi phenomenon without constructing a coherent theory. And despite the fact that many phenomena still take place in our world, only an appeal to the Higher Mind explains everything. Thus, some researchers are already seriously (consciously) talking about the influence of the Spiritual world on our physical reality. Let's consider this aspect in more detail.

HYPOTHESIS ABOUT THE HIGHER INFORMATION AND ENERGY SUBSTANCE (HIES).

We can talk about the existence of some higher substance, interaction with which also realizes psi-phenomena. Let's call it the Highest Information-Energy Substance (HIES). By HIES we mean some objectively existing incredibly complexly organized structure that carries out information and energy interconnection with complex objects of the Universe that are capable (or intended) of interacting with it. In particular, it is the highest in its complexity in relation to humans. Her interest in the relationship with a person can be explained by the possibility of obtaining new (positive) information that determines the development of VIES. From a religious point of view, VIES is to some extent identified with the concept of God, the Demiurge, in occultism - with the higher mentality, and in scientific (materialistic) terms - with supermind, higher cosmic intelligence, a single energy-informational field, unknown intelligent forces (according to K E. Tsiolkovsky), information and administrative structure (according to Yu. A. Fomenko). It is possible that the purpose of the VIES is to improve this Universe or create a new, more complex, developed, harmonious one. In relation to the person (and this is what interests us most), VIES is not at all engaged in education or charitable activities. However, any of the individuals can be of interest to the RES if it is “beneficial”, for example, in terms of information. In this case, the VIES can even at a certain time stage provide assistance to a specific person, and an indication (manifestation) of this may include, among other things, paranormal phenomena that are not yet explainable from the standpoint of the laws of nature known to us. It is likely that at a certain time stage In the life of an individual, an information-energy cell (IEC) is formed as part of the structure of the VIEC, which to a certain extent reflects a specific person (and maybe another biological object). This cell can survive even after his physical death. From here it is easy to explain: belief in the immortality of the soul, post-existence, life after death... However, in contrast to generally accepted views, apparently, such education does not occur for every person, but only for those who are really interested in VIES in information terms, for example, through their creative activities, including healing, and attempts at harmonious coexistence with the outside world. The “participation” of this IE in the new person born is not excluded. Then both reincarnation and the operation of the laws of karma are easily explained.

What practical conclusions can be drawn from this hypothesis? Using generally accepted terminology, we note the following:

1. Science and religion should not be opposed. It is possible that the hypothesis of a Supreme Information-Energetic Essence will serve to unite their positions.

2. You should not think that VIES (that is, God) “deals” with each individual person. Divine attention must be earned.

3. Not every person has a soul. It is formed only with the appearance of an information-energy cell corresponding to the individual, which possibly functions even after physical death, that is, the immortality of the soul is manifested in this.

4. People engaged in creative activities and striving for harmonious development are awarded the appearance of the IEY (soul), as well as receiving help from the VIES. Maybe prayer (or meditation, or an altered state of consciousness) provides an information-energetic connection with the IEY.

5. Apparently, one should not expect much effect if one prays not for oneself, but for another person. This is due to the fact that a specific IE corresponds only to you. Therefore, help can be provided to you. Thus, for example, instead of praying: “Lord, send health and goodwill to those around me,” it is advisable to ask: “Lord, give me the strength to help those around me to become healthy and kind.” In this case, it is necessary not only to pray, but also to act.

6. It is useful to use every chance to engage in constructive, creative activities. Then the likelihood of your IEI appearing increases, or help from the VIZ will arrive in one form or another.

Astral travel will allow you to visit the most remote corners of the planet without spending a penny. There are no barriers or obstacles in the astral plane. You can fly, walk through walls, dive to the bottom of the ocean, or go into space. Practical parapsychology will open up a new, amazing world for you, full of bright colors and breathtaking impressions!

Hypnosis was known to the ancient priests. The clergy used hypnotic sleep for a variety of purposes. Hypnosis was used to treat people and was also used as a test of superpowers for newly converted neophytes. It is known for certain that in a state of hypnotic sleep a person can remember any event that happened in his life.

Meditation is a whole life in miniature. Some people are learning meditative practices to cope with stress, others are looking for opportunities for self-development. The beauty of meditation is that it is impossible to predict in advance what effect it will have on a person. Meditation practices will change your attitude towards life and possibly help you achieve enlightenment.

Telepathy is the ability to read the thoughts of strangers. The science of parapsychology, which you can learn on our website, considers telepathy one of the most complex and dangerous techniques. We are ready to introduce the reader to methods for developing telepathic abilities. But don’t expect quick and easy progress - to learn to read other people’s thoughts you will have to work hard!

Extrasensory perception is the ability to receive information that is inaccessible to an ordinary person. This could be the perception of an aura, the ability to see through walls, the ability to catch secret clues from the Universe (well-developed intuition). If you want to learn how to develop superpowers in yourself, then try the practices from the “extrasensory perception” subsection.

Clairvoyance is considered one of the most mysterious areas that parapsychology pays attention to. To gain the ability to foresee future events, you can use various auxiliary equipment. Perhaps you imagined a classic crystal ball? If you don’t have this attribute at hand, you can replace it with a hand-made clairvoyance mirror.

Aut viam inveniam, aut faciam
Either I'll find a way, or I'll pave it myself

Valtasar wishes you rapid progress in parapsychology, O neophyte!

Tell me, has it ever happened to you that when watching a film of a certain genre or during a magician’s performance at the circus, the thought came to you: “Does magic really exist?” You are not alone. Today, many serious educational institutions are working on the same problem.

Parapsychology is a complex of sciences that seek not only to prove, but also to practically reproduce extrasensory perceptions. As far as possible, let's look further.

Origin of science

In academic society, this discipline is considered a pseudoscience. Scientists agree that no experiments were carried out according to official rules, there are practically no publications, and most of the results are purely individual.

The term itself appeared thanks to Marc Dessoir in 1889. It means "near-psychological research." The popularization of this word began only after the publication of the first issue of the Journal of Parapsychology in 1937.

Since much of the research was carried out in American universities, and this nation simply loves acronyms and abbreviations, since 1942 the first part of “psychological phenomena” has been replaced by the Greek letter “psi”.

Varieties of phenomena

In fact, esotericism, parapsychology and other “secret” sciences study the basic five senses of a person developed to the limit.

Many researchers agree that even intuition is, in fact, not a hint from the subconscious, but the sum of all our perceptions. Something was once noticed, heard, read, someone behaved inappropriately to the situation... All these moments are noticed by the subconscious and gives the result through the feeling: you need to do this... And the person listens to himself... or not. In the end, it turns out that it would be better to listen.

So, they distinguish clairvoyance, clairaudience and other extra-developed senses. The next category is weight management. This includes telekinesis and levitation. Extrasensory perception includes astral projection, out-of-body travel, and channeling. In addition to such sensations, there are also purely practical ones - healing, dowsing.

Thus, parapsychology is a whole complex of disciplines that study human superpowers.

Story

The time before the 80s of the 19th century can be called an occult-mystical period. Alchemy, witchcraft, shamanism and other attempts to go beyond the limits of the material world - few could be surprised by this. But then most such phenomena were considered miracles at best, and “the works of the devil” at worst.

From the end of the 19th century, the study of these phenomena and phenomena began. Societies for Psychical Research are founded in England and the USA. The first study recorded was the rewriting of testimonies of people who saw ghosts. Next, their words were compared with the stories of healthy people who had experience of hallucinations. And the results of these experiments are still used today.

Stanford and Duke universities in the USA continue the tradition of the societies, but their focus was slightly different. Here the main goal was not the quality of the experiment, but the number of cases and the possibility of repetition. Mostly the work was carried out with cards and coins.

In 1957, the Association was founded in North Carolina, and the field of research expanded in the 1970s. Now reincarnation is being studied, auras are being photographed, and so on.

Although some projects have been closed, unable to withstand the criticism of official science, in Europe and America they still continue to conduct research in laboratories, sometimes obtaining unusual results.

Research

Parapsychology, clairvoyance, telekinesis and astral vision have today collected a fairly extensive base of results.

There are people who can see blindfolded, tell what is happening in the next room, move a matchbox or a coin. Hypnotism and the power of suggestion have also been studied for many years.

For example, one of the methods for studying such superpowers is “ganzfeld”. It means the following. The subject is located in a soundproof chamber, he hears white noise in headphones, and in front of his eyes there are special hemispheres that completely isolate them from light.

The second participant in the experiment is outside the camera and looks at a computer monitor, where pictures randomly appear. He mentally sends drawn images to the recipient. The latter must voice all his thoughts into the microphone.

This is what parapsychology is like. Teaching some of its disciplines is becoming increasingly popular today.

Fiction or reality

Throughout the twentieth century, scientists have argued about the results of experiments. The main problem is that they are purely subjective and individual. And it is quite difficult to determine what parapsychology is (is it quackery or the science of the future?).

That is, it turns out that one person has certain abilities that are more developed, or he was simply lucky on the day when the experiment was carried out. The second problem is that there were no significant achievements, and most of the results of the experiment can be attributed to technical errors or ordinary

The main thing that saves most of the existing similar laboratories today is the lack of evidence to the contrary. That is, esotericism has not been confirmed or refuted. The value of the experiments is so far appreciated that grants are being allocated.

Criticism

Academic science opposes all publications and attempts to introduce parapsychology into the circle of recognized disciplines.

The main point is that before, as now, many took advantage of the extraordinary nature of experiments and the desire of mankind to believe in miracles in order to present the public with another trick or fraud.

In addition, critics point to the isolation of the experiments. That is, they have no continuation. Let's say one scientist studied telekinesis with a coin and published some statistical data. But that's where it all ends. None of the related disciplines has any interest in continuing.

Research organizations

However, it's not all bad. And today there are many enthusiasts who are ready to conduct experiments and participate in them.

The universities of Edinburgh, Liverpool, and Arizona provide laboratories for research, and students often show interest in such events.
Also, many societies, foundations, and organizations take part in this movement.
A number of publications are published in Australia and Europe.

Thus, parapsychology is a whole complex of disciplines that are practiced by different enthusiasts.

In contrast to the previous movement, there is also a society of critics, led by associations of illusionists from different countries.

How to learn

Are you wondering what it is? You are lucky - today there are many trainings that help bring what you want to life. Here we will talk about the simplest first steps of a student.

The first thing anyone who wants to learn to perceive information from the outside needs to do is create silence within themselves. Concentration exercises, relaxation, visualization, and meditation will help here. Only after you manage to stop the internal monologue and abstract from the flow of thoughts in your head, does it make sense to move on to the next stage.

Try looking at your hand with your fingers spread out against a plain wall. After a few moments you will be able to discern a slight glow. They say this is the human etheric body, the grossest part of the aura. If you practice, you will soon be able to perceive the world in all its diversity.

It is not so easy to discover clairvoyance in yourself. There is no clear guidance on how to develop it or obtain it in another way. There are only a few summaries of statistical data and mystical information from the “magicians”. However, in laboratories, some people show quite convincing results.

It turns out that everything depends on your attitude. Parapsychology, the study of which many people are interested in today, is often relegated to the level of laymen and scammers. However, the abilities of some individuals show that these are not just the experiments of “crazed” scientists. Perhaps this is simply an undiscovered layer of knowledge, and research today is ahead of its time.
