“SWEETS OF WAR CHILDHOOD”

The Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 is always alive in our memory; it did not bypass our family, which included those who fought and those who worked in the rear, bringing Victory closer with all their might. I will write about the wartime childhood of my great-grandfather, Dmitry Ivanovich Khramov, a war veteran and home front worker. Born on August 8, 1929 in the village of Motorovo, Omsk region in the family of a forester, at 87 years old he today lives and lives in the city of Sochi. Every year the whole family comes to our great-grandfather and celebrates his birthday, we go to the sea, to the Arboretum, and the Sochi Theater. And in the evenings we listen to his memories of the sweets of his wartime childhood. It turns out that after the war in a neighboring village there was a point where they accepted old rags and bones in exchange for sweets, a caramel cockerel on a stick. Dmitry alone, through the forest wilds, looked for animal bones and walked seven kilometers there and back loaded, knowing that there would be sweets in the house and his younger sister would be happy. This story touched me to tears and made me think about my carefree and happy life in complete prosperity, and even the candies and pies that are always just there in a Sochi house, I look differently today, realizing how important it is to appreciate what you have there is a home, a world, a family.

Great-grandfather Dmitry was 12 years old, like me today, when the Great Patriotic War began. All 28 houses of a remote village were orphaned within a month, fathers and older brothers were taken to the front. Times were very difficult; children could not go to school (there were no teachers). Medicines, clothes and food could not be bought, only exchanged for valuables, but they were not there. Children's games and fun were forgotten. Everyone understood that here, in the deep rear, Victory was being formed. This thought helped me survive difficulties, hunger and deprivation. Procurement of food was very important for soldiers at the front. Like all the village kids, he helped pull thistles on the collective farm during the day; all his hands were covered in scars and abrasions. It took a very long time to heal and ached at night; the disease undermined his strength. Seeing how his mother spent nights under the moon spinning yarn, knitting socks and mittens, and in the morning she cooked, cleaned and washed, he firmly decided to protect his family, just as his father defended his homeland at the front. Dmitry took care of his mother, younger sister, and household as best he could. The little boy’s desire to get better faster, grow up, and go to the front made him resilient and mature beyond his years. Responsibility for his mother and younger sister helped him survive in difficult times. Thank you, my father, a forester, Ivan Dmitrievich, showed me his fishing spots and taught me how to hunt with a bow in the forest, set traps for a hare or beaver. He always said that the forest is a storehouse. Take as much as you need exactly today, don’t be greedy. My sister and I knew the richest edges, where we collected mushrooms and berries, medicinal herbs and nuts. In the fall, they harvested fruits and vegetables together. And in winter, herbal tea and shanezki with berries saved people from illnesses and colds. These are the sweets of childhood. The vegetable garden and the cow, the forest were the breadwinners. Dmitry ground grain on millstones, weeded, watered, loosened, and prepared water for the cattle.

Everything for the front, everything for Victory! And as soon as he turned 13 years old, he was hired as an assistant tractor driver on a trailer. Dmitry fixed the rope to turn off the plow. Four years with a faithful assistant - a tractor. Firewood was needed to heat the house, and it fell on the shoulders of the little boy to prepare it. When he proudly drove them to the house on his trailer, then the villagers began to respectfully call him by his first name and patronymic, Dmitry Ivanovich! Hardworking and kind, sympathetic and cheerful. He was loved and his fellow villagers consulted with him. He experienced many difficulties, poverty and hunger, which forced him to work like an adult from an early age.

My family brought Victory closer to the Great Patriotic War and wrote the history of our family in the history of the country. My great-grandfather, Dmitry Ivanovich Khramov, was awarded the medal “For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.” For me, a feat is an act that a person performs, overcoming difficulties, forgetting about himself and his well-being. The labor feat of children and adolescents during the Great Patriotic War is difficult to evaluate in words. We try to be worthy of our great-grandfathers, hardworking, courageous, purposeful and not afraid of difficulties. I believe that the connection between generations is the memory of our family and friends. As long as the memory exists, this connection will exist. We should never forget the history of our country and our roots.

The organization of the event was at the highest level, the judges consisted of very experienced people who appreciated each participant. I was especially surprised and pleased by the chairmanship of such an actor as Alexander Oleshko.

I am grateful to my Russian language and literature teacher for telling me about this competition and for giving me the opportunity to participate in it. Undoubtedly, such a competition should be held in the future."

Certificate of DogM

Today at the gymnasium teachers' council a pleasant surprise awaited me: I received a diploma Department of Education of the City of Moscow for personal merits that contribute to the implementation of promising directions in the training and education of the younger generation of Moscow.

It is wonderful that teachers’ work is not only criticized, but also encouraged. I will try to grow further.

New sporting achievements

February 18, 2017 took place ZelAO Karate Championship. In category kumite (boys 12-13 years old in the weight category up to 45 kg) 2nd place occupied by student 7 “B” Shinkevich Andrey.

Andrey has been practicing karate for 5 years and during this time he has achieved a lot: at the moment he is the owner of a green belt (in Japan there is a system of student and master degrees in karate. Each degree corresponds to a belt of a certain color. For beginners to comprehend this martial art (9th kyu – student rank) there is a white belt, which gradually “darkens” with increasing skill; the green belt is the 6th kyu;

With all my heart I wish you further victories and achievement of the highest level of mastery!

Documentary about our area

I would like to remember about the last event 2015-2016. This year my tenth grader - Kozarchuk Svetlana- presented her project work at the sites of two competitions at once: " Educational project", conducted by the Publishing House "First of September" as part of the Festival of student research works "Student's Portfolio" and the Moscow city competition of design and research works.

Sveta's information project "History of the Beskudnikovsky district of Moscow", created by her under my leadership and under the guidance of teacher of mathematics, computer science and ICT Karina Evgenievna Yurchenko, unfortunately, did not take any prizes, although it turned out to be very worthy. Perhaps this was due to the fact that the competition format did not allow the resulting documentary film about our home district of Moscow to be shown in full.

It is this “oversight” that I would like to correct: modern technologies make it possible to introduce our work to a larger audience. I think it will be interesting to get acquainted with the history of your small homeland.

From December 1 of this year until April 30 of the new year, the meta-subject Olympiad “The connection of generations will not be interrupted” will be held in Moscow. This was reported by the official portal of the Moscow Mayor and Government.

The Meta-Subject Olympiad will be held for the fifth time. Schoolchildren from fifth to eleventh grades and college students can take part in it.

Participants will have to write an essay about important events in the lives of war veterans, home front workers, participants in local conflicts and law enforcement officers.

To participate in the Olympiad, pre-registration is required; the results will be summed up in May 2018 at the Victory Museum.

It is worth noting that the number of participants in the meta-subject Olympiad is growing every year. Last year, more than 11 thousand students took part.

The results of the Olympiad participants, students in grades 1-11 and preschoolers, are taken into account when calculating the school rankings.

  • Participants with team and individual test types are equally taken into account when calculating the school rating.

The results are transferred to calculate the ranking of schools automatically after the publication of the final results of the Main Stage. To link the results to the school, the school’s login in the Statgrad system, specified by the participant during registration, is used.

  • Diploma School Olympiad winner winner of the main stage of the Olympiad.
    The number of Main Stage winners in one parallel does not matter: both 1 and 20 bring the school only one virtual diploma in this parallel.
  • Diploma School Olympiad winners in a parallel (no more than one diploma per parallel), if in this parallel there is a participant awarded a diploma as a winner of the Main Stage of the Olympiad, but there is not a single winner of the Olympiad.
    The number of Main Stage winners in one parallel does not matter: both 1 and 20 bring the school only one virtual diploma in this parallel, if there is not a single winner in this parallel.
  • When visiting all museums, parks and estates, participants must take photographs with the name of the site being visited in the background. Such photos are uploaded to the participants’ personal account. Each photo must show the names of the museum and one student (for an individual participant) and team members for the team competition (at least half of the total number of schoolchildren in the team, and for teams of 2 and 3 people, the minimum number of team members in the museum is 2 people ). If there is no photograph for at least one object, the participant’s results are not taken into account when calculating the school rating.
  • When calculating the ranking of schools, the participation of the school museum in the Olympics is not taken into account.

How many points does an Olympiad participant bring to the school?

The results of students’ participation in city Olympiads are taken into account: “Museums. Parks. Estates”, “History and culture of the capital’s churches” and “The connection between generations will not be interrupted”. Educational organizations can get their points multiplied by a coefficient depending on the level of performance (in total for all Olympiads, for the Olympiad "Museums. Parks. Estates" one best result in parallel is taken into account; the results of preschoolers and students of secondary vocational education organizations are taken into account and counted as two separate parallels):

  • high level (at least four diplomas, of which at least two winners) - 1.02;
  • good level (at least three diplomas, of which at least one winner) - 1.01;
  • work has just begun (presence of at least one prize-winner or winner diploma) - 1.005;
  • results not shown or missing - 1.00.

Please note that a school receives the maximum coefficient if it has one awarded participant (team or individual) in at least 4 different parallels, of which at least 2 parallels are winners. It does not matter how many schoolchildren take part in the Olympics from each parallel. The quantity does not affect the result.
