MCC opening on September 10 which stations. MCC station "Ploschad Gagarin" and free travel around the ring! What tickets will be valid at the MCC

The first stage of the Moscow Central Circle will take place on September 10. The network edition of the site responded to the most important questions about a new type of urban transport.

What it is?

Moscow center ring- it is, uniting the metro and the radial lines of suburban railways. Previously, it was called the Moscow Railway Ring. The MCC runs near the Third Ring Road in the southeast and west of the city and in the middle between the Third Ring Road and the Moscow Ring Road in the north of the capital.

The main task of the road is to make the path from one point remote from the city center to another shorter. According to experts, the launch of the railway should reduce travel time by an average of 20 minutes, relieve the Ring line of the subway by 15 percent, and the city's central stations by 20 percent.

How many stations will the MCC open?

The ring includes 31 stations, each of which provides for transfers to other types of public transport. 17 stations will be connected with 11 metro lines, 10 - with radial railway branches.

At the first stage, passengers will have access to 26 stations, the press service of the Moscow Stroycomplex reports, citing Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor for Urban Development Policy. The rest will begin work before the end of the year.

Until 2018, the connection of the MCC stations with metro stations, radial railway lines and surface urban transport will gradually improve.

In the second, the MCC scheme is inscribed in the currently used metro map and is indicated there as the 14th metro line. In total, 50 thousand new schemes will be pasted in the subway. The updated maps will also show how long it will take to transfer from the metro station to the MCC station.

The ring stations themselves are equipped with navigation panels in Russian and English... Braille will be installed for visually impaired passengers. Also, at each station, a board will appear with the time of arrival of the train. Several of them will have Live Communication stands.

The time it takes to drive the entire ring: 84 minutes, including stops. Passengers do not have to go to the Koltsevaya metro line to get, say, from Mezhdunarodnaya to Leninsky Prospekt or from Vladykino to Rokossovsky Boulevard. With the opening of the road, overcoming these sections will take 10-12 minutes instead of 28-39, respectively.

What trains will run on the MCC?

Passengers will be transported. The entire rolling stock is planned to be equipped with energy-saving electrical equipment, video cameras, air conditioners, phone chargers and free Wi-Fi.

This information is also indicated on the outside of the trains. Bicycle parking and bicycle rental stations will be installed next to each transport and interchange hub of the MCC.

Are the MCC and the Third Interchange Circuit the same?

No. Many people confuse the Moscow Central Ring with, but this is not the same thing. The main difference is that the MCC is a railway connection, while the TPK is a subway ring.

TPK will become the new big ring of the Moscow metro. Its total length will be 59.5 kilometers with 28 stations. The first section of the circuit will open this year, and the entire line is planned to be launched within the next four years.

When did the idea of creating the MCC appear?

Construction of the road in 1903 under the personal supervision of the Moscow Governor-General, Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich.

Five years later, the first train was launched on the new railway, but in just a day, four trains passed along the line. And if freight transportation fully justified itself, then passenger transportation did not go.

At first, Muscovites were embarrassed by the high price of tickets, and in the late 1920s and early 1930s, bus and tram services improved in the areas where the ring road passed, the popularity of trains fell, and in 1934 the passenger service had to be closed.

They wanted to renew them in the 60s, but the proposal was never implemented, and at the end of the 80s on the railway it was decided to restore historical buildings and start up passenger trains.

The modern idea of turning the road into a high-speed lane with metro transfers appeared in 2001. And they started reconstruction already under Sergei Sobyanin in 2012.

: “While the list of stations that will be launched on September 10 (this date, one might say, is circled in a red circle), has not been formed; according to Alexei Zhigalin (Deputy General Director for Design of JSC "Moscow Railways", the exact "list" of what will open (will not open) will be announced on September 9 "

On August 26, I looked at how things were going at the Ploschad Gagarin station and I can say that this station will be opened. Unfortunately, due to the severe blockage of filming, I post photos only now.

And yesterday interesting news came from the metro press service.

On September 10, the first stage of the launch of traffic on the Moscow Central Circle will take place. On behalf of the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin, the first month of operation of the new highway will be free- passengers will be able to appreciate the advantages and conveniences of the new ring, as well as the quality and level of services.

Free trips will help introduce citizens to the new type of urban public transport. They can be carried out from September 10 to October 10 inclusive... During this time, passengers will be able to appreciate the Moscow Central Circle, get acquainted with the stations, build new convenient routes for themselves that can significantly reduce travel time.

Also, passengers can switch from the metro with one ticket, go to the MCC, and then return to the metro again absolutely free. To do this, you just need to attach the used metro ticket to the reader with a special yellow sticker when passing through the turnstile at the stations of the Moscow Central Circle. Passage only through the designated turnstiles will allow you to make a transfer according to the scheme: “metro - MCC - metro” free of charge. The free transfer system starts operating from the moment of the launch of the Moscow Central Circle - September 10.

Passengers who plan to travel only around the MCC, or those who change from the metro to the MCC, do not plan to return to the metro within 90 minutes - they can safely pass through the turnstiles that are not marked with a special sticker. It is important to note that a free return to the metro after traveling to the MCC will be possible only with specially activated tickets. These include all types of travel documents, including "Single" and "90 minutes", purchased after September 1.

Tickets purchased before this date, including those on the Troika card, can be activated free of charge at the metro and monorail ticket offices, as well as at the Metro Passenger Agency and the Moscow Transport Service Center, starting from September 1. Activation is carried out without changing the remainder of trips and the validity of the ticket, while new, reprogrammed travel documents will allow you to make transfers to the Moscow Central Circle free of charge and evaluate a new, convenient and comfortable way to travel around the capital.

It will be possible to activate free transfers on a Wallet ticket on a Troika card by replenishing it with an amount of 1 ruble or more, at the ticket offices and ticket machines of the metro, as well as through the agent network. Passengers who do not plan to use the MCC services do not need to activate their tickets. Also, reprogramming is not necessary for the social cards of a Muscovite.

The diagram shows which stations open in September and which later. But, experience suggests that minor changes are possible. In general, the launch will be. This is the main thing!

Already many Muscovites and guests of the capital have become accustomed to the convenience of the MCC (Moscow Central Ring) or, as it was called earlier, the Moscow Ring Railway - Moscow Ring Railway, the opening of which facilitated the unloading of the Moscow metro ring line in particular and the entire metro in general.
