From September 2004 to April 2017, the Department of Historical Sciences was the head of the department, Associate Professor Bohan Yuri Nikolaevich, who specialized in the study of the historical and economic problems of the city's settlements of Belarus during the Great Principality of Lithuania. For the first time as an independent course, economic theory (until 1992 - political economy) was included in the Training Plan of the Goretsky Agricultural Institute (GZI) in 1859. Introduction
