Registration of USE participants can be carried out either by the department (ministry) of education of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation, or by the department of education of the city (district), depending on the scheme holding the exam in a specific region. We advise you to clarify which body registers USE participants where you live.

So, there are two waves of passing the exam: the main (in May-June) and additional (July).

Main wave:
To pass the USE in the main wave, you need to submit an application with a list of subjects for which you plan to take the USE no later than March 1st.
If you are a current year graduate, then you are applying to educational institution in which you are studying.
If you have already graduated, go to the Department of Education.

After submitting your application, you need to obtain a pass by 10 May. Graduates of the current year receive it from the administration of their educational institution, graduates of previous years - from the department of education.
The pass must indicate:

* surrendered subjects of the exam;
* address of the exam point;
* dates and times of the beginning of exams;
* codes of the educational institution and the point of the exam.

Also, along with the pass, you should be given the "Rules for Participants of the Unified State Exam", "Rules for Filling Out the Unified State Exam Forms", as well as information on the procedure for arriving at the exam point.

Please read these documents carefully so that you will not have any problems while taking the exam!

Additional wave.

Graduates of previous years, as well as graduates of educational institutions of primary and secondary vocational education, who did not have the opportunity to participate in the main wave, have the right to take part in the additional wave of passing the exam.
To do this, you must submit an application in the period from June 20th to July 4th. The application is submitted directly to the secondary school (secondary special educational institution) or the university (higher educational institution) in which you are going to enroll or in the department of education.
You can get a pass to the Unified State Exam where you applied from June 20 to July 5. The pass will usually be issued to you as soon as you submit your application.
Important! Before passing the USE, you must familiarize yourself with the "Rules for USE Participants" and "Rules for Filling Out USE Forms", which are published on the website of the department (ministry) of education of the subject. These documents are not required to be issued at the place of registration.

There is very little time left before the start of the new school year. But, already today, teachers, parents and future graduates are concerned about the question of what innovations the Ministry of Education is preparing for 2017-2018 and what to expect for those who plan to take the Unified State Exam and fight for budget places in the universities of Russia.

In this article, we will cover the most important topics:

In 2017-2018, the following have the right to take the State Examination Certificate in the Unified State Exam format:

  • Students of educational institutions of the Russian Federation (schools, lyceums, colleges, vocational schools, etc.) who have successfully mastered the program of secondary general education, do not have academic debt and grades lower than "satisfactory".
  • Citizens of the Russian Federation who received complete secondary education in foreign educational centers.
  • Graduates of previous years who did not take the exam or want to improve the result of the previous year.

Children who studied according to individual programs or in the format of "family education" must first pass the GIA and write a final essay by contacting an educational institution that has state accreditation... To be admitted to the Unified State Exam, such graduates must receive a "satisfactory" grade or higher on the exams.

The right to pass the exam in an early period (from 03/22/18 to 04/13/18) has graduates of previous years, as well as 11th graders who have a weighty documented reason.

Unified State Exam for residents of Crimea

Every year, an increasing number of Crimean graduates choose RF universities for training. Over the past two years, 11-graders have had a choice - to take the State Examination in the format of the Unified State Exam or the entrance exams directly at the university chosen for training. So, in 2017, 84% of Sevastopol graduates made a choice in favor of passing the Unified State Exam. Most of them successfully passed the tests and entered the budget or contract forms of education in Russian universities.

According to a presidential decree signed in July 2016, for graduates of the Crimean Peninsula in 2018, United State exam should become mandatory.

Influence of the Unified State Exam on the attestation score

In 2018, it is important for graduates to prepare qualitatively for the USE, since the marks obtained on tests can significantly affect the certification score. This innovation will affect both compulsory subjects and elective exams.

Presumably, the system for translating the USE score into the assessment will be as follows:

4 points

3 points

Russian language
Maths
Physics
Computer science

Chemistry
Social Studies

Literature

Compulsory subjects of the exam 2018

On this moment there is no official information about any changes in the number of mandatory tests. In 2017-2018 academic year all USE participants will take Russian language and mathematics (basic or specialized level). You can choose from such items as:

  • physics;
  • computer science;
  • chemistry;
  • biology;
  • history;
  • geography;
  • literature;
  • Social Studies;
  • foreign language: English, French, Spanish, German or Chinese.

Discussions on the list of compulsory subjects are ongoing. It is possible that in 2018 the announced innovations in the exam will be adopted and all graduates will have to take history, geography or a foreign language. It is also possible to introduce an integrated test in the natural sciences.

Changes in CMM in various subjects

It is worth immediately warning future 11th graders that the materials for preparing for the exam, which were used by the graduates of 2016, are no longer relevant. In 2017, CMMs have undergone significant changes in many subjects.

Russian language

The examination paper consists of 2 parts, which take 210 minutes to complete:

  1. provides for giving a short answer to a question;
  2. an essay on a given topic.

There is a possibility that a third part will be added in 2018 - speaking. The oral speech will be recorded and then evaluated by the commission. Most teachers believe that this is the only way to assess the real level of proficiency oral speech and the student's ability to express their opinions and positions.

Maths

Tests with one answer were completely removed from the tasks. In the USE of the basic level, as well as in block 1 Unified state exam of profile level will be offered tasks with multiple choice (2 correct answers). In block 2 profile level They plan to focus on integrated tasks requiring knowledge of algebra and geometry.

Physics

Although the structure of assignments in 2018 will not be significantly changed, students in grade 11 will have another not very pleasant surprise - a reduction in the hours for studying physics. In the 2017-2018 academic year, the Ministry of Education decided to return to schools, allocating hours for teaching at the expense of physics.

In physics tickets, graduates will also not meet test items... Even entry-level tasks will require a short answer (number, word, decimal or sequence), and for solving tasks high level you will have to accumulate all your knowledge from different areas of physics and mathematics.

Also read more about the surrender.

Computer science

The main innovation of 2018 in information technology must become a complete rejection of paper tickets. Demonstrate a level of computer proficiency and skills logical thinking and working with data, modeling and building algorithms will have to be done using a computer.

The idea is great, but will the peculiarities of teaching the subject in schools be taken into account and students will be given the opportunity to choose what they know? software to complete assignments. Time will show.

Literature

Back in 2017, such changes in KIMs for literature were actively discussed, such as:

  1. avoiding the test system with one correct answer;
  2. increased requirements for the essay;
  3. introduction of tasks of a creative nature.

Based on the announced innovations, it can be expected that the literature ticket will consist of three blocks. There were 235 minutes to complete the test in 2017. Whether more time will be provided in 2018 due to the complication of tasks will be known closer to the end of the calendar year.

Biology

The number of tasks on the ticket has decreased (in 2017, only 28 of them were offered to students), but the complexity has increased significantly. Tests have been replaced by tasks for the addition of schemes and tables, selection of correspondences, as well as analysis and synthesis of information.

An unpleasant surprise for many in 2017 was the fact that 11 out of 28 problems contained illustrations (pictures, graphs, diagrams), the reading of which caused certain difficulties.

Chemistry

The ticket structure has changed significantly compared to 2016. In 180 minutes, examinees will need to complete 34 tasks (which is 6 less than before). But, at the same time, instead of tests with one answer, you have to:

  • make multiple choices;
  • establish a one-to-one correspondence;
  • solve computational problems of various levels of complexity.

Social Studies

In 235 minutes, prospective applicants will have to answer 29 tasks, divided into two blocks:

  1. 20 tasks with a short answer, in which you will need: insert a word, establish a correspondence, choose the correct answers.
  2. 9 tasks with a detailed answer, which includes a small essay.

Foreign language

Exams in English, German, French and Spanish practically did not change. They take place in two stages:

  1. The main one, which takes 180 minutes, includes tasks on grammar, vocabulary, reading and listening.
  2. The second stage is speaking.

New for students in 2017-2018 will be the possibility of passing Chinese, the study of which is rapidly gaining popularity today. The Unified State Exam in Chinese was successfully tested in 2017 and this season will be offered to graduates along with English or Spanish.

The Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science reminds that an application for participation in the Unified State Examination in 2018 must be submitted by February 1 (inclusive). The application must list the subjects for which the participant plans to take the exam.

Any number of items can be specified in the application. Two exams - Russian and Mathematics - are compulsory for graduates of the current year. Successful delivery of these subjects is necessary to obtain a certificate of secondary general education.

The rest of the subjects are handed over by the participants of their choice and are necessary primarily for those who wish to continue their studies at the university. The choice should be based on what specialty or direction of training the USE participant intends to continue studying and what subjects will be counted by the university as entrance examinations in each case. Before applying, you should familiarize yourself with this information on the websites of the selected universities.

School graduates of the current year apply for the Unified State Exam at their place of study. Graduates of previous years must apply to the places of registration for the USE, determined by the educational authorities of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation.

Applications are submitted by students, graduates of previous years personally on the basis of a document proving their identity, or by their parents (legal representatives) on the basis of a document proving their identity, or by authorized persons on the basis of a document proving their identity and a power of attorney issued in the prescribed manner.

Students and graduates of previous years with disabilities, when submitting an application, must submit a copy of the recommendations of the psychological, medical and pedagogical commission, and participants with disabilities and disabled children - the original or a duly certified copy of a certificate confirming the fact of establishing a disability issued by the federal government agency medical and social examination.

Graduates of previous years, when submitting an application, present the original documents of education. The original of a foreign educational document is presented with a translation from a foreign language certified in accordance with the established procedure.

Persons enrolled in educational programs of secondary vocational education, and students receiving secondary general education in foreign educational institutions, when submitting an application, they present a certificate from their educational organization confirming the development educational programs secondary general education or completion of the development of educational programs of secondary general education in the current academic year. The original of the certificate for students in foreign educational organizations is presented with a certified translation from a foreign language in accordance with the established procedure.

After February 1, an application for participation in the Unified State Exam is accepted by the decision of the state examination commission of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation only if the applicant has good reason(illness or other documented circumstances) and no later than two weeks before the start of the exams.

In 2018, the early period Unified State Exam will be held from March 21 to April 11, the main one - from May 28 to July 2.
